A very nice hotel, with friendly staff. I stayed here for a conference. The State Department had a briefing while I was staying, so part of the hotel was on lockdown while some foreign officials came in a side door. Very nice hotel room, with a large comfortable bed, and nice bathroom. My only complaint was my room was immediately adjacent to the elevator, and I could hear a whooshing sound every single time an elevator went up or down. If I was in any other room I don't think I would have heard it though.

My wife had her company holiday party here in the state room. It was a very nice, upscale venue with good food. Also had drinks at Edgar afterward, which is a nice space to have an after party. Although I think we were a little roudy and made some of the patrons unhappy.

What can I say? A magificent and historic place to stay in DC. Room, service, food, check in/ check outall fabulous. Attended a wedding in the State and Grand Ballroom..amazing. Located next to so many notable places and attractions it's just stupid convenient. So much good to say. Thank you so much, I had a blast!

Updated, clean rooms. Lack of closet space. Great location. Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful, historic hotel. Coffee bar in the morning, and fruit infused water always available in the lobby. Nice bar/restaurant. Wonderful stay.

You cannot beat the Mayflower for location and beauty. The lobby and room are among the prettiest in DC. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The hotel is in easy walking distance of great restaurants and DC's top landmarks. The concierge lounge offers a wonderful breakfast as well as substantial food in the evening. I had a great stay and can't wait to go back.

Accommodations were more than adequate. Room was a great size and the sitting area off to the side was a nice touch. Bed was comfy and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had our wedding at the Mayflower recently and everything was perfect! The amazing staff really made our special day one to remember. Drayton the event coordinator and Kathy the banquet manager made sure everything went as planned. They worked with us closely and fulfill our request without hesitation. On our special day, the food was great, staff were accommodating, and everything went beyond our expectation. Thank you!

I stayed at the Mayflower on my first trip to DC, and the location was very convenient for the tourist attractions. I ate at the Edgar both nights, and was plenty satisfied both times. The room was not particularly big, but it had all of the usual things I would expect.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It was classic but modern and updated. The staff was nice and helpful (even the security guard who answered questions when the concierge wasn't around). The bar is small, but perfect for grabbing a drink on the way back in after a night out. The bedroom was wicked comfortable, pillows were a bit soft but I just don't like feather pillows (I usually bring my own pillow). My biggest complaints have to do with the room itself and it is small maintenance things that should've been dealt with. One of the dresser drawers was broken, which made it difficult to open and close; the shade didn't go up, it had the mechanism but was missing the string that pulls it up and down; and there was a mouse trap behind the bed, I guess maybe I just felt it should be hidden away and not where I might see it or touch it. Anyways loved this hotel, would've been better with a pool! I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel with very attentive staff. We were very impressed with how courteous and efficient everyone was, from the bellmen to the front desk. The room was very comfortable and accommodating, with plenty of extra room to stretch out. We would definitely consider staying at this location again the next time we are in DC.

Beautiful hotel. Very modern and spacious rooms. Great service from all of the staff. Only complaint was that our room was next to the elevator shaft which was a bit noisy.

As a wedding photographer I was able to take a lot of beautiful pictures in this hotel. I had really great time. I can describe this hotel as unique and really beautiful place with cosy atmosphere . Staff was really attentive, helpful and really nice. I enjoyed every moment there and one day I would love to come back there.

2 nights, family stay. The hotel is beautiful and kept up well. Great location and super comfortable. Parking and wifi NOT FREE. For $250 a night, it should be. I requested a two queen bed room and got one king. Was told it's a request that doesn't HAVE to get filled. Front desk not too friendly, just kinda doing their job. Will i come back here? Prob not.

Stayed a weekend at The Mayflower Hotel. The decor is amazing, the staff were pretty helpful for the most part. The food and drinks were good. They get 4stars from me because of how small the rooms are! Very tight spaces. Other then that it was a lovely weekend
