A wonderful gem located near our Nations Capital. While in town take the time to visit the Dubliner for authentic beverages and food. They also have live entertainment most evenings. The Dubliner is adults only, not recommended for children. The Phoenix Park is an older but very hotel. Their rooms have the best beds and linens in the area. Look for specials when booking, this part of D.C. can be expensive. You will be within waking distance of the historic Union Station, another must see and experience. They have a variety of shops that will satisfy most shoppers. They also have many different eateries that have high quality items.

Hotel was perfect. The restaurant attached to it was horrible. I ordered chicken fingers to go. I asked for ketchup. Bar tender insisted that ketchup was in the bag. I told her it was not and she sent another server to open all the contents of my order to verfy that the one pack of ketchup I asked for was not in the bag. Basically touched all of my food just to realize that they indeed forgot to give me one packet of ketchup

Attended a wedding there. The food was delicious, but the room where the ceremony was held wasn't very private. Staff and other guest list could consistently be heard walking past or sometimes through the event. Nice atmosphere.

Hotel is located very close and convenient to Union Station. It's an older building, but recently remodeled. The elevators are not for anyone claustrophobic, but are new, quiet, and fast. Decent TV options in the room and great water pressure in the shower. I did not look into room service, as there is an Irish pub attached and accessible from the lobby.

The Phoenix Park Hotel is very convenient located close to Union Station. It made my business trip very easy. The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. I would definitely stay there again!

Nice old but renovated hotel close to Union Station. It was clean and the bathrooms were nicer than some newer hotels in the area but the space was a bit small. Also had a room with no view. The staff were friendly and we got to check in early. Do not recommend the restaurant the Dubliner.

Historic building with modern amenities. I agree, the rooms were kind of on the small side, but not cramped by any means. And the bathrooms are awesome with a shower big enough for 2+ !! The historic architecture of the building is beautiful. The elevators were tiny, but fit in with the architecture. And no one can argue that the location is A1! Now if only they could do something with the D.C. traffic!!!!!!! 😬

I love this hotel. Sure the room is small but you must remember this is city living after all. It's well laid out so it doesn't feel claustrophobic. The bed is comfy and the shower is AWESOME! It's close to Union Station (across the street) and if your a walker tie up those laces and get ready to check out the sites. This hotel is a leisurely stroll from the National Mall and all the museums your day can take!

This hotel is very beautiful. It is close to the capitol building and is walking distance to many activities and restaurants. The rooms are updated and clean and the staff if very helpful and friendly. I would definitely come again. I just wish they served complimentary breakfast in the mornings.

Rooms were small but functional, staff was friendly and had no problem holding our bags all day on the day of departure while we did things around town. Furnishings were all in good condition and good working order. Plenty of power outlets!

Beautiful decor. Awesome location. Friendly staff. Nice restaurant area. Love the Irish style. Good breakfast selection.

Three stars because
AC did not work in my room. Was hot all night, and I am usually cold in most places!

It was is so loud, so they provide earplugs. I am usually a deep sleeper but this was one of the worst sleeps I have had in my life, and I can fall asleep anywhere!
I had a early client meeting the next daynot great.
Do not order the fish and chips (chips are okay, fish is terrible)or the coffee(weak weak).
When I told them the AC didn't work and I barley slept they said was "Okay we will make a note of it" .

Rooms are very small but beautiful. They have a great Irish bar at the bottom of the hotel. Coffee bar is open to everyone until 10 am. Location is unreal- you step outside and see Capitol Hill. You are across from union station with tons of food and ride options. Staff is friendly and attentive. I would love to stay here every time I am in DC.

Hotel was really nice and easily accessible to everywhere we wanted to go. We were there for a wedding and the staff was very accommodating to our large party. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Great restaurant attached to the hotel made coordinating with our wedding party super easy
