It was fun to be there. If you are looking for a budget motel with a nice and friendly atmosphere with 100% hospitality I think the inn motel is a good place as the service was very good and a friendly atmosphere was found. It is located in a very nice place.
My partner in life was giving the "gift of life" to her son for a second time by donating her kidney. Originally the surgery was schedule for 7 AM, so we had made reservations with the hotel to avoid the stress of morning traffic to Boston. We were called late in the day, the day before, that the surgery had change to 11 AM, thus we no longer needed this reservation and could travel the day of the surgery. When I called to explain this to the staff at the hotel, I was first hung up on. I called a second time, and spoke to Noah, who had no real authority, and just recited protocol that we would be charged for the night plus tax unless I provided paperwork that documented the change because I had not called before 4 PM the day before the reservation. So let's get this straight.. let's have someone donating an organ hunt down some paperwork for a couple hundred bucks on a service we're not going to use Because I'm sure they were fully booked Since he was no help, I asked to speak to his boss Giselle Braga (Rooms Division Supervisor) and just recited procedure again. I asked to speak to her boss, and she said Heather Rosen was out of the office and would tell me the same thing. She was rude, and tried to talk over me, so I gave it back. I told them they can do the right thing and make an exception to protocol, otherwise I will have to dispute the charge (because I'm not using the accommodations) and write an HONEST review of my experience online. The exact words of this professional Giselle Braga was "GO AHEAD!" The money means nothing to me, I do well it was the total disregard of empathy and human emotion. They do not care about the patients staying at this hotel, they hide behind procedures and rather make an already emotional journey more challenging for their guests. If you care about your loved ones, do not stay here. I would recommend Brigham and Women's Hospital find more empathetic accommodation partners to avoid this stressful ordeal for any future patients.
I stayed here because I had an MRI at Boston Childrens Hospital and had to talk with the doctor. And the stay at this hotel was AMAZING! Btw i stole there tissues so hotel if you see this. im sorry
I have a neurological problem which makes loud noise toxic and excruciatingly painful. When I made my reservation I asked not to be on street side, no adjoining room and not near vending or elevator. I got the 'proverbial not guaranteed.' Having traveled over 1 million miles in my life I know that it is possible to accommodate a severe disability. The guy taking the reservation was surly and seemed burned out from his job. When I got to the hotel, I was given room 807 and specifically told the room was not adjoining any other room, not on the street side and not near vending. It is just the opposite. I complained to the manager who did nothing. The food - I had some steak tips was impossible to eat so salty and sugary. Worst apple pie I have ever had. The room itself is a dump: dirty, worn, tiny. But the ambulance noise is the worst. Don't expect to sleep if you stay here. A hotel has one job to fulfill well: put a customer in a room where they can sleep, otherwise there is no service rendered of value. Shame on this hotel. Never will I stay here again. The woman at the front desk was also short with me. Not this hotel again.
The location is great and easy to get to from just about anywhere by bus and train. Driving there yourself isn't so bad as long as it's not rush hour. Rooms are very nice and clean, more than presentable. People who work their are friendly, personable, social, and go to whatever lengths they must to satisfy you.
Great place to stay. Comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, and within walking distance to Dana Farber and Brigham and Women's. The concierge Jose is the best!
The customer service was excellent and the rooms were clean. It was convenient having the parking garage and a food court attached to the hotel. It was also within 5 minutes walking distance to Boston Children's Hospital.
The staff at the Inn at Longwood Medical are fantastic! The rooms are not bad at all, in fact, they are very clean with in room coffee pod service and excellent beds. I was just a bit disappointed by not having a view of the area and the fact that the showerhead was loose at the wall. Overall, a very nice experience.
The staff are a bunch of Racism driven ego maniac. Horrible experience with the Diner, which was empty and did not sit us after waiting for 20 mins with zero traffic . There where only 2 staff working and one cook. The bartender was a racist fool who refused to serve or wait in myself and family. This is waste wrong with America today. In Boston your money is no good . Only the color of your skin. Horrible place outdated hotel with workers who lack the will to live. Horrible experience. I would give this place zero stars but one is where it is.
Rooms were very nice and large. Service was kind. The cheap and reliable parking was incredibly strong and worthwhile. The restaurant was fine.
I was only in the lobby but the staff were courteous and accommodating. I wasn't too pleased with the decor though, it was just average. The location is favorable for anyone in the area; it's right in the middle of Longwood medical area, in the middle of all the hospitals
Location is great for the hospital district. The rooms were just okay. Very expensive for not many amenities. The guy at the front desk, I believe his name was Angel, was not very helpful. If you want to know how to get around the city, he is NOT the guy to ask.
I absolutely loved it here. The service is great, the room is clean and everyone is incredibly nice.
