Lovely downtown favourite! Cozy wine bar (prefer in autumn/winter or rainy evening since basement level), outstanding wine selection, very good happy hour(s), good food. The mussels are always a favourite, the crabcakes have little filler, much crab unlike most. Outstanding service. Love the evening jazz. Very good private room availability. Highly recommended.

Entering the Earle is strange, going one floor below, but when you enter, you enter a unique world of experience. Colors, smells, and above all, great food. Service was professional and friendly.
I would gladly revisit when I am in town.

The ambiance was great because we had almost private seating as there are some tables which have really cool walls made out of work on either side. Also had a great view of the live jazz ensemble that was playing. We had a very interesting (good) seasonal cocktail that was reasonably priced. The food was above average, but nothing spectacular. The French onion soup was amazing, so highly recommend that if it's your thing. Shrimp appetizer was mediocre. Still recommend this place as worth checking out, but it didn't get five stars from me because I was expecting more from the food.

Food is always top notch. Ambiance is 10/10. It is located in the basement of a complex and is decorated as an underground wine establishment. Live jazz makes the night even more special. Highly recommend!!

Happy Hour starts at 5pm. Your double-lime G & T pairs perfectly with the mussels. Dip the hearty bread in the bowl of garlic-y juice!

We took advantage of happy hour in the bar. Of course mussels. Perfection. Then the white fish for me and a sausage and cappacola pasta dish for hubby. Both esquisitely done. Encrusted white fish (only available on Mon/Tues/ We'd) was on a bed of wilted spinach. Fabulous!!! And the martini was balanced. Best happy hour! :)

Made a last minute reservation on a Friday night and was lucky to get a spot! The food is delicious, I had the whitefish and my friend got pasta. I LOVE the desserts, nothing will go wrong here and they are the best in town! The entrance is a bit sneaky to find, but great vibe with the jazz band! Would definitely go back for a good dinner with friends or families!

Very good food and a very romantic environment. Great place to take a date. The entire resteraunt is under ground in a wine cellar like place which is very neat. Food is on the pricey side, around 30 dollars a plate, so be aware of that. The food menu is rather small, they only have a few choices of main dishes and a handful of appetizers, but the wine selection is ridiculously long. It is a 30 or so pages binder they give to you. This is what they are known for.

My wife and I had out first anniversary here. The music and the food are great. We spent three hours at hour table and loved every minute of it. Thank you to the staff for the great service , and thank you Steve for helping us pick out a great wine. This is a must go place. Anniversary or occasions, or simply just to get a great bottle of wine and get out of the house!

We went with a friend who is a huge fan of Pacific Rim. We were beyond impressed! The atmosphere was outstanding. The service was excellent. And the food choices were truly amazing. There were 7 of us, we ate the lamb special (unbelievable!), the scallops, the special soup and desserts - all of which were excellent.

Our family celebrated a birthday at Pacific Rim and was fortunate to get a reservation on a Tuesday! It is a popular place and now I can see why it is. Every dish from appetizer to dessert was delicious and unique. My avocado soup was both refreshing and rich. The ginger tea was a lovely surprise.

Could have just orders the appetizers and been satisfied. The pork belly is delicious as well as the fried cauliflower. The fire roasted pizza was good but not extraordinary. Friendly atmosphere and attentive service. Would recommend.
