We couldn't be any happier with our apartment complex. Since day 1 when we walked in lost because we needed an apartment for that same day and we had no place to stay, Jennifer Anton was so nice to us in doing everything possible for us to move asap, even though they didn't have any apartments available at that time, she tried very hard in finishing one for us. The complex is huge, lots of free and fun activities, not to mention their clubhouse that is so nice. All the work orders we have put on the website were done within 1 day, which was awesome. I highly recommend this complex to anyone.

We've lived here for 6 months now, and for 6 months there's been constant construction on my building. I have terrible insomnia, so being woken at 7am to workers digging up the yard outside my window (while shouting and throwing shovels at each other) isn't my favorite thing. They do construction and matinence at 7-9am if not until later.
Today is the 4th time that random matinence men have been outside my balcony, in my window, fixing the roof. The first three times the guys were on a ladder/cherry picker, which was leaned up in my window. We now draw all the blinds in case some dude is going to be watching me sleep while they're fixing what? No clue because it all looks the same except there's more flowers outside the window.

Currently there's a man's foot dangling off my roof as he's either fixing it, or chopping wood/shoveling snow from the sounds that have woken me up, again.

Not to mention it's a gated community but my car still was broken into and not even the cops have gotten back to me about it.

This place is a nice place to be and it has a lot of great amenities but be ready for a ton of construction and no privacy. If it weren't for all this, it would be 5 stars

Update as of 9/1/17: can't leave a second review but there's a man pounding away at my roof YET AGAIN at 9am. I guess I'm not sleeping.

I lived at Lake Shore for 3 1/2 years loved the beautiful sun rises and sun sets. I took beautiful pictures from my balcony winter spring summer and fall. We had great neighbors in our building. I felt the company could have done more for the seniors and familys with children. On the vacant land facing the lake. Better picnic area with tables facing the lake. Play ground, skating area for the kids so they wouldn't have to go across Grove. Not everything for the dogs. Upgrade the kitchen cabinets and appliances. All in all Lake Shore is a good place to live remember nothing is perfect.

I have lived at LakeShore for almost two years now. Even though we are planning on moving this summer,it has nothing to do with the quality. We will miss lakeshore. If your on the fence I hope this will help. Most maintenance requests were taken care of in under 24 hours. Very dog friendly with trash and potty bag stations everywhere. Beautiful adult heated pool with great view of Ford Lake. Tons of community amenities and event along with shuttling to local ypsi festivals. Beautiful challenging disc golf coarse on site with a throw shop selling every disc on the market. Free fitness classes at clubhouse with an extremely experienced trainer, (you seriously won't have any two classes that are even close to the same routine.) Safe community minutes from depot town. I honestly couldn't ask for more. I hear people complain all the time but honestly there is hardly anything ever to complain about unless your really digging. Thank you LakeShore for two great years.

This is one of the worst apartment I have ever been. The apartment smells so bad and the management change their tone once you sign that agreement paper. I just can't wait until I move to some better place.

Superb staff all the way around, amenities, community activities, hospitality, sports and recreation, office and admin support, maintenance and management, shuttle and much more. Courteous, professional, and efficient group of folks take very good care of their residents. Killer views of Ford Lake, very pet-friendly, gated community, secure building access. Quiet, serene place to live.

I've lived here for just over three years and I love it here. This morning I was at the Club House when I spotted a baby raccoon with a plastic bottle on his head. I tried catching him myself and somehow managed to get him up a tree. The lady at the desk called maintenance. They were there in less than five minutes. Paul, the maintenance man, with the help of another employee, Jacqueline, was able to get the bottle off the little dude's head. The raccoon would have starved to death if it had not been for them. Both of them were great and didn't seem upset that they were called. I am so thankful that Lakeshore has such caring and patience employees even when it comes to animals.

I have lived here for about 6 months, and have enjoyed my time here immensely. I The maintenance crew comes out quickly if you ever have an issue. Staff here are very help, and have always been courteous. The entire complex is quite large, and provides ample space for walks with your dog. I have also never heard my neighbors the entire time I have lived here. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences living here so far, and would recommend it to anybody looking for a pet friendly apartment complex.
