Nice little coffee shop for an after dinner drink. Hot chocolate and some different coffees. Can get busy.
Great atmosphere. Music selection was on point. Staff is super friendly! Was very happy with the hazed & infused mocha (mocha with hazelnut). Only downside was that the lighting wasn’t great in some areas. Didn’t use the WiFi; I was just reading. Bathroom was impressively nice for how tiny the space was!
Excellent espresso at a great price! I’ve had a cortada and a cappuccino and both were very good. The espresso flavor was strong yet very smooth and delicious! Best coffee around! The prices were also good, lower than Starbucks! Great place to stop by if you’re visiting Ridgecrest! Will definitely be back!☕️
Fantastic espresso and lovely environment. The baristas were very friendly and let me play a Paul Simon record on their record player. Incredible collection of records. :)
We found this coffee house on a trip to Black Mountain many years ago and stop in every time we pass through. They have a great cup of coffee and best of all their baked goods are to die for. Do not miss Grandma’s pound cake.
Great place to grab a cuppa while you relax, work, or chat with friends. It's always hopping—and deservedly so! All the baristas are friendly and accommodating, and the organic roasts are delicious. They also have some baked goods; a few are gluten-free and vegan. There is parking in the adjacent lot as well as on-street. The Dripolator is one of my favorite haunts—you, too, will fall in love with the warm, welcoming atmosphere and great coffee.
This locally owned & operated coffee shop roasts their own beans & it's apparent as soon as you take your first sip of coffee. Their logo is neat & the shop's vibes are cool. The customer service is stellar & the baked goods are delicious. We had a pastry & a slice of peanut butter pie both of which were heavenly. We always stop here when we're passing through because it's on the list of favorites. I wish we lived closer so we could be regulars!
The Dripolator Coffee house is a fun independent coffee shop located just next to a car park, it has free WiFi and great cheesecake.
$2 for a medium coffee and a business which has been in operation since 1999 is well worth a visit. Be careful that you don't come expecting a long stay in seats because there are many people coming through the doors and you may find yourself bereft of chair.
Definitely worth a look!
Fun environment and hot coffee- everything we were looking for on a rainy day!
Old style, local coffee house. Locally made pastries. Great coffee selection. There is seating but it is limited due to small size
Great local organic coffee. Really nice portion size. Tasty desserts.
This place has great atmosphere, the town is a wonderful little town. The service was wonderful the product was great I enjoyed my experience there. Once again this is a very friendly little town and a great stop along your journey.
There are a few cafes in Black Mountain, NC and I had a hard time deciding which to check out. As a coffee fan I love patronizing local coffeehouses that brew sustainable trade fair coffee. I'm glad I stopped in at this location, I had a lovely cup of their Salvadorian blend and it was delicious. They also had lots of tasty pastries but I passed on this occasion. Pretty busy when I stopped in but they had good amount of seating indoors.
