Rented a canoe here with my wife over the summer. Great customer service, friendly staff and well cared for equipment. The route wasn't my favorite I've done, but still pretty nice!

Took my neices and nephew to do some gem mining. This place was one of the less expensive places but had great reviews. We took the plunge and purchased the white buckets and got tons of gems 💎 will be back, great spot to hang out on the river and do some kayaking.

We did the kayaking and canoeing over here, we did enjoy the rides and the staff over there were very friendly and nice. Provide all the information and the location was nice.

The team at AOC makes you feel like family. The rickety old vans will bring you back to your childhood days of summer camp! Great service and a beautiful kayak trip down the French Broad. I brought my whole family and it was wonderful!

I just wanted to that Dave the owner for such an amzaing experience he was one of the most helpful buisness owners Ive ever met. We went to the Outdoor center to take some wedding invitation photos and he was just as excited as we were and was so helpful. The experience was beyond amazing. People like Dave make the world a better place!!! Thanks Dave!!
