I absolutely love The D. Very friendly staff. Excellent rooms and accommodations. Awesome slots and table games. Food selections are really great also. Love The D. The only place to stay in my book!!
I love the D. It's basically my favorite casino as far as gambling goes. I like the machine selection and the security never seems to give me a hard time like many other casinos do. Plus the hot dog place they got in there is pretty good. I've no complaints about the D.
This hotel is a great place to stay and bang for your buck. I've booked rooms here a couple of times now and requested if it was possible to be upgraded and they've always been happy to help. Even though the strip is the main place to be with all the clubs and shows, I've always found myself attracted to old Town Vegas because of the convenience that food is just walking distance. When you stay on the strip you have to walk half a mile to the nearest McDonald's I don't have time or energy for that. Staying at the D Las Vegas I can easily walk to many options of food and still have fun.
A+ 💎 💎 💎 🎰 Had a great time! Love the table games and the wife loves the slots! We had a long weekend and it was very fun! We will be coming back as soon as possible! Food is good - rooms are good A+ Recommended for all! 🎰 💎 💎 💎 and we loved being right on the strip next to the action. Easy access and nonstop fun!
Our stay was fantastic. Couldn't ask for a better hotel/casino on Freemont St. Perfect size casino, several bar options, the Country Benedict at the D Grill was amazing. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit. Room was clean, comfy bed and the shower was awesome. Thank you for a great Vegas experience.
Stayed here 4 nights and had a great time. Staff was very nice. Rooms were so clean they looked brand new still. Sat at the penny slots and still got free drinks very fast. The horse racing machine is so much fun! Two big exits right onto Fremont. If you stay close enough to the exits or go up to the balcony on Fremont, the bums can't bug you.
The rooms were very clean and well kept. The workers were very helpful and answered any question I had. We never ate at the grill so I am not sure how the food was there. The location was amazing. It was right on Fremont Street so it was easy to get to other places. Overall the place was very clean
Best staff ever, always treated me so well helping me in every way possible. Rooms I stayed in all were exceptionally Clean and very well kept up. Had music going on out on Fremont St. right outside of hotel. Music lovers paradise! Best housekeeping Ever. Thank you so much Digna for making my stay so perfect. Always had clean towels, sheets, vacuuming and etc. and always on a timely manner. Also Front desk Sofia was extremely helpful. I really enjoyed being greeted by elevator guy. Can’t say enough about this place except I will be staying here again when I return and it will be soon. Also free valet service was excellent. I felt so safe at all times thanks to The D’s Security protecting us all 24/7.Thanks again. GREAT JOB!
The room was just what we needed, a clean room to stay for a great price! No need to pay $300+ a night for a hotel on the strip and pay for amenities you never use. Plus, Fremont has cheaper minimums, normally $5 hands, live music outside and its more fun! If you want to go to the strip its only a 10 min Uber. (About $20) I'm 23 and I had more fun staying downtown than I did on the strip.
Our upgraded room came with food already in the fridge and trash behind the nightstand. The shower knob fell completely off on use. Bed is okay. That being said, the room did not in itself feel grimy. It's pretty okay. It was affordable. Fremont Street is an interesting experience, but I feel like you should watch out and use common sense/be aware of your surroundings. Note that Fremont has music until late at night, especially if you stay on the side closest to the street. The clerk noted this at check-in, so no gripe there, but it's something to be aware of.
Cute little Casino right on Fremont Street. Everything was great, and I would actually rate this place a 4.5 if I could. I do have two small quibbles, though. The casino area is warm during the day hours. Almost too warm. And, the elevators. The hotel has the new computerized control system, and that takes a little getting used to. Otherwise, a fantastic stay.
I can't say much for the establishment itself as I only went to two shows here. Both shows were great and I has a blast. I did not gamble, eat, or stay at the actual casino.
My rating is solely for the entertainment of the programs I paid to visit. I would recommend the dinner and show (Marriage by Murder). It was interesting and kept you busy. The meal was fine and you had three choices for the main course.
The D is such a unique blend of modern amenities with a classic downtown Las Vegas vibe. I love how they maintain the classic casino machines upstairs and kept it young and funky downstairs. The location is superb, the staff is always friendly, and I would want to stay at the D next time I am in Vegas. The only thing that is missing is enough dining options for vegetarians. I am not vegetarian but my wife is and we can easily walk down a block or two and find tons of options, but I with the D itself had a few more choices for people with different dietary restrictions. Otherwise I love the D and would highly recommend it to my family and friends!
It's nice to see these Downtown Vegas hotels getting some attention. The D has done a great job giving the rooms a really nice look. Some of the frayed edges are starting to show, so hopefully they can spruce it up & keep going. Re-design go go girl outfits. Maybe just have that during peak timeskinda sad seeing them swaying to no one at 4 a.m. Ubered to strip quickly for around $15. Downtown is tough to explainit's like Reno has been moved to Vegas & It's REALLY trying to fit in. Expect old Vegas, noise, vaguely-shady people, frosted-drinks in plastic yard-cups, boots, cut-offs, & light-up cowboy hats. Personally, I love it. Inexpensive, a bit grungy, & odd. Will probably get 5 stars if they keep with this place & get everything updated to their themeAWESOME staff!!! They really were ALL great! :)
The fine dining steakhouse in here was incredible! One of the best meals I've ever had. Even better than the food was the service though. We were not expecting the restaurant to be so upscale and the host/server was so warm and welcoming. It wouldn't have been the same experience without him. 5 stars for sure.
