Rooms may show their age, but they are clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff are professional, friendly, and helpful. The location is great for getting to so many attractions.

Full disclaimer - this happened to my boss, not to me.

This place is disgusting from the quality of the stay to the quality of the customer service.

After a week of cross country travel, my boss had three nights reserved at The Court. On the second night he saw a MOUSE in his room. He went down to the front desk where they offered to put him in another room at THE SAME HOTEL. Not find him a new hotel to stay at. Disgusted at the rodent (who knows how many others), he left to find another hotel.

A week later, we discovered he was billed for two nights -- including the night he left due to the rodent. When I called on his behalf to get the second night removed I was given the run around from accounting to reservations back to accounting. I was left on hold for five minutes waiting to talk to the front desk manager, only to hang up, call back and learn the front desk manager hadn't arrived yet for the day. When I finally made it to the supposed top of the food chain, the rooms director refused to remove the second night of the hotel, even though there was a RODENT IN THE ROOM.

I visited NYC for business and this hotel was booked for me as it is in close proximity to our Manhattan location. I was thrilled with the staff - Kay, Adam & Glynis were phenomenal! Quick check-in and check-out. My two night stay was pleasant and would book again!

To be honest, three important reasons that I recommend not to choose this hotel. First, it is too noisy for me. Second, it is not clean. Third part is the most important part which is they have bed bugs. When I find it, I directly leave this hotel change to the Nomad Hotel and throw away all of my clothes which take into this hotel. Fortunately, I drive here. So my luggage is on the car, I do not need to throw them. For me, this hotel is the worst hotel experience I have ever faced before.
However, the security ( the man who is on night duty, with black colour skin and dreadlocks hair style) he was so kind and friendly. The location for me is great.
If you do not care the 3 points I mentioned above, you can choose this hotel.

Worst hotel experience I've experienced from a hotel. Starts with there lying manager Clyde, but First and foremost, the hotel is old and disgusting and far from a 4 star, more so 2, the pictures are photoshopped. The shower weren't cleaned, the sink was dirty and old, the carpet had stains, but worst of all they had bed bugs. In conducting a bed inspection, past the holes in the sheets, we found bed bugs, asked to leave the hotel, where Clyde the manager gave us the option of either changing rooms or leaving with a full refund. Even told reservations they would refund us, only to lie and change once we left. We choose leaving because if one room has bed bugs, we assume they all do. Back to Clyde, who just lied to get us out of the hotel, because a few days later, he reneged on our agreement. Spoke the accounting and the director of rooms and they all gave us the run around to the point where we just gave the recorded conversation we had with Clyde to out credit card company, where they just refunded us. I would never stay there, not only horrible accommodations but even worse management. Desperate for $117. Will never get another dime from us. On top of that THEY CHARGED ME TWICE!!!

Could be much better is maintained. Very central. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Place needs a lift and upgrade. Lots of places within walking distance. Better to walk than be stuck in traffic.

The only good thing about this "hotel" was the location. It is certainly not a 4 star hotel as is is being advertised as. The hotel lobby is small, the front desk seems under staffed, and to rooms are older and dimly lit. Our first room the air conditioner wasn't working, they tried to fix it for us, but the electric fuse kept tripping so they gave us a different room. The new room AC worked but now toilet wouldn't flush. Had to call and they sent maintenance up to fix the toilet. He said the building plumbing is old. Later when we showered the tub barely drained so we were standing in a pool of water 4 inches deep while showing. Overall very dissatisfied with our stay. Hotel refused to refund us or cancel our stay, otherwise we would have booked a different hotel. Do yourself a favor, pay a little bit more and get a much better hotel.

We got a great deal on this hotel which is the only reason we stayed. The room was spacious but desperately in need of a thorough cleaning. My husband and I were both pretty grossed out by the old, stained carpeting and general wear and tear of the furnishings. This hotel could be spectacular if it got an overall refresh with new carpeting and a good cleaning. We will not be staying here again, despite the good deals.

Rooms are really nice and was not that crowded. From our room (1116) you could see the Empire State Building which was pretty neat. The couch bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the bathroom was just fine. What made me take off a star was the poor room service. Overall service was fine, but when we came down to deposit our bags, a man came up and put them away, but then asked for 2 dollars in tip. I thought it was ridiculous to ask for so much tip for something so small. It might be customary, but I really don't know. I thought it was worth noting.

Staff was nice but I had to call staff a few times. Heater wasn't working. Windows did not close all the way so we heard all the noise on the street. Hard to sleep. Shower head didn't have enough pressure. Next time I will stay somewhere else

Beautiful decor, staff are so friendly and helpful. Got a fantastic deal from Manager Chris months in advance and this is definitely my go to when I return to New York. Super easy to get to pretty much everywhere, rooms are great value for size I was pleasantly surprised. Cleaning staff were so warm and welcoming and would say hello every morning 100% made my new york experience that much better
