Staff always keeps an eye on visitors, they charge you for any extra people they see in house for more than 2 days. Make sure to ask the utility bills if you see any difference. Patios have been shrinked in the name of remodel. Now living rooms are wide open and less secure.
I found this as best place to stay in Thousand Oaks. Leasing Office members are very helpful and awesome service by the management. I stayed there for 14 months and would have continued there if not relocated.
I lived here for almost 5 years it used to be a safe nice place to live. Then about 2 years ago they started renting out entire units to a rehab company, they have rehab drug patients loitering at all hours of the night throughout the day, found one asleep on my patio once. Saw at least 4 to 5 fights break out. If you see a bunch of white club house vans parked in the back parking area than beware as they are housing at least 20-40 recovery patients at a time. Not safe for families or children considering what they charge for rent is comical that they allow this to happen. Don't bother complaining to management they don't care.
I use to love it here. Lived here for such a long time (over ten years) thought I would never not love it but that time has come. On 5/28/15 our shower started backing up and we let the office know. it is now 6/4/15 and the "Manager" had told us the plumber would be there Monday 6/1/15 and to use the second bathroom to shower. Plumber never showed up. Called the office and of course the "Manager" acted as if she was surprised that they had not shown up and then promised they would be there Wednesday 6/3/15. Never showed up again and called today was told that the plumber would be here 6/5/15 and then was called back by the "Manager" to be told the plumber would not be able to come until Monday 6/8/15. Needless to say we are not happy and the "Manager" is not concerned because this is not her place or her problem. We are a family of four and pay a fortune to live here. It would be nice if things actually worked.consistently.
I am leasing since January 2014. Now in September I am having a second bad experience. I let the leasing office know that Air conditioning is not working since last Thursday 9 am. Today is Monday morning and they have not repaired it. They keep saying it will be as soon as possible during the week. I already invited the Manager of this property, Kimberly, to turn off her AC for 4 days during this season, to understand why I claim this situation to be an emergency. What I cannot stand is my children 8 and 4 going through this.
We've been living at the Biltmore Apartments for more than 1 year and it has been really great! The best part of living here is the kind and hard working staff. If there is any problem with your apartment, they respond right away. Thank you Biltmore staff for all your hard work and making this a nice place to live.
