The Biltmore Bar & Grille is a modern American restaurant in Newton, MA with a longstanding history. No corporate restaurant chain or Hollywood set designer could ever recreate The Biltmore Vibe.

In 1914, the Biltmore opened and served up breakfast and brew at 7AM for the overnight crews from nearby factories. It came with a 4 lane basement bowling alley that was a local hangout for decades.

There was talk of a speakeasy during prohibition. The Biltmore was across the street from a regional rail stop and often hosted private events for dignitaries, politicians and celebrities. If the bar could talk, the stories would fill volumes!

Best Brunch in the area hands down. Bartender (Fay) who generally works the Sunday brunch is the best.

I took a group to the Biltmore this week while on a business trip to Massachusetts. As usual, the service and food were great, but that is what I expect. What pushed the Biltmore over the top was the fantastic customer service AFTER my visit. I left my credit card there while paying and didn't realize it until two days later when I was at the airport in Boston getting ready to return to California. When I called the Biltmore to see if they had it, Curtis immediately offered to mail it to me in California!

It is one thing to get great customer service when a payment and tip are on the line. When there is no requirement or expectation for it, great customer service creates a loyal customer and advocate. Go Biltmore!

A lively atmosphere with fun bar food and a good drink selection. This is a spot you'll enjoy visiting more than once.

Very close to our hotel so we ate here a few times. Great service. Great beer selection. Food was really good. Like this place a lot!

Great food and drink. Servers really nice and able to accommodate custom orders.
Slightly loud music made it difficult to communicate.

Slightly elevated bar food that seems to confuse adding different types of aioli or spice as substance to a dish, nevertheless still good bar food. Tap list was good but offered little variety and the mix drinks were playful and tasty. We has fast service on a busy night so that's a plus. Didn't particularly bother the group I was with but it was very loud in the front area.

It seems like this is under new ownership. This used to be one of my favorite places to go - but now it's just okay. The food was good, but they were out of several beer options. Of the 2 people in my party that ordered beers - each of us had our first 2 beer choices be out of stock. I was picking off of a chalkboard list - it shouldn't be too difficult to just erase from the chalkboard, right?

Definitely seems to be the hot spot for 30-somethings. Was very crowded and loud in all areas, but the food hit the spot. Burger was cooked perfectly to order. Beer selection is good, not amazing.

I came here with a group to celebrate a birthday; it's not a place I'd seek out on my because I don't drink alcohol or enjoy loud environments. So, I hoped the food would be great. I ordered the fish tacos; they were OK, but not amazing. The menu itself is not terribly imaginative. I am not sure why people rave about this place.

So this was excellent and service was very good at this local bar & grill here in Boston. I'm from Dallas, TX area.

Had the Slow Roasted Brisket Sandwich. Never thought to put pimento cheese and cole slaw on brisket before. Might have to try making this when I get home.

We visit this place all the time since we work across the street. The ambience is great, the art on the walls is very retro and fun to look at and the food is good. I recommend the fish tacos and BRUNCH is perfect. For a real treat, visit in the summer for the outdoor seating area

Loved, LOVED the loaded waffle fries the gravy was so good. We went on a trivia night. It was a bit hard to hear, but fun. The service was good, beer selection was great and food was good too!
