Love this hotel! Really cute decorations and Less than a mile from the beach! Great service from the staff as well.
My fiance and I love this hotel and have chosen to get married here. It's a hidden gem. Really beautiful inside and service has always been amazing. Food is delicious and they have a great happy hour at the restaurant.
A very nice place with awesome service! A good morning walk a way from the adorable beach and MB downtown. Valet works very nicely. Short drive from LAX airport!
The room was very cozy with more of a "homey" feel then most other hotels. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes it feel like you're spending the night in a five-star hotel costing way more. The bartender upstairs makes a killer Old Fashioned
Beautiful weather. Very clean room and excellent staff. Food was very good and hosts were gracious. Vallet parking was awesome and a breeze! Highly recommended.
Wanted a quiet environment to drink, so went to Second Story at the Belmar. I think because it's inside a hotel that not too many people frequent it even though they offer free valet to "temporary" guests. I liked their food and cocktails, so I think it's worth going to if you want a chill place to drink.
Great location. Close to Manhattan beach. Spacious rooms, clean, and very nicely decorated. Friendly service from the concierge to the valets. Highly recommended.
Perfectly located between LAX and Manhatten Beach. Friendly staff, well appointed rooms. Great in house dining and local shops and dining within a few minutes walk. Swimming pool and lounge area is lovely too. Highly recommend.
Very nice stay.approximately 18months ago. Very friendly staff, nice restaurant.great indoor pool. However if you want to stay near the beachthis isn't the hotel for you! I loved the 30 min walk to the beach and coffee shops.didn't need to use gym! Great shopping centre, with Macy's across the way. Great restaurants also nearby. Only thing I didn't like was having the courtyard right outside my window.very pretty setting, however really noisy at night.
A nice boutique hotel in Manhattan Beach. Rooms are properly sized and some with the lovely views of palm trees. Few minutes away from the beach & great restaurants. Cheerful staff.
Don't stay here. They are not about service. They don't care about customers. The hotel staff is misinformed and dishonest. They don't run a tight ship. They have loose management of employees which is clear by the way the management speaks.
Multiple failures by Serena the "Supervisor".
I booked this room 1 week prior. I requested an early check in. The person at the front informed me that I would have to call the night before (to confirm this could
be done. Due to room vacancy.) I did and the front desk clerk said "no problem" check in is good for the AM.
(Note: I have never stayed here before.)
I arrived LA 9:15AM, then straight to hotel at about 10:AM I go to check inbut wait..the clerk says "Nope, we don't have your room available". I explain that I called, checked, and it was told to me that I would have no problem. The "supervisor" said "I don't know why she would say thatshe's been here 4 years. (Basically calling me a liar.) I'm blown away at this point. I then asked how they would correct the situation and was told they wouldn't by "Serena" the supervisor. Listen. I stay all over the US. I've never been called a liar, and never been poorly treated until now by The Belamar hotel in Los Ángeles.
Staff was great: Very pleasant and helpful. Location was great: 5 min drive from the Manhattan Pier and a 5 min walk to the Point (Shopping and Food) plus about 10 min walk to the Manhattan Mall. Con: The shower which is also a bathtub. Shower heads are a little out of date. Not a big deal. If your particular.
Restaurant in hotel is def pro. Food is great.
Overall a very nice experience. Some of the friendliest staff ever and quick valet parkers. The hotel itself is very cute, well furnished and stylish. Bed was comfy and nice. Breakfast was very good. Only complaint is the walls and floors are thinner than average so it felt like we heard a lot from neighbors on all sides.
This might be one of my favorite hotels ever. The styling of this boutique hotel is quirky but works. the rooms have this beautiful decoration that invites you in and makes you want to stay. the balcony with seating is a great touch. The pool area with Jacuzzi and fire pit make it a great spot to hang out after a night out.
