Ok budget hotel with good shuttle service to and from the LAX airport. Rooms are clean and reasonably appointed. No complaints.

Short distance from LAX. dirty carpet, no bathrobe, no slippers. I stay due last minute layover and it has high review. Comfortable bed, breakfast starts at 6:30AM. I am not able to enjoy because I need to be at the airport that early. Not a place for vacation. No window view. It does have swimming pool.

Service staff is friendly & accommodating but the hotel needs upgrades before I'd return. Replace the broken lamps. Increase the water pressure in the showers. Cover the Windows overlooking junkyards with pretty scenery wallpaper.If even pay more for that. I do love the size of the room & would recommend it with a strong warning if someone needs budget accommodations because the staff made up for where it lacks.

The Comfort Inn Cockatoo was a good choice for a stay in Los Angeles. It is down a side street that dead-ends at a gate, so it seems safe. Parking is either on-street or in the garage a couple of doors down.
The staff ranged from nice, very accommodating, to "eh" for OK. The room was big and beautiful with a complete kitchenette and full refrigerator. Also excellent was a jacuzzi tub, the complimentary breakfast with sausage, eggs, fruit, juices, breads, cereal and yogurt. Since I went in late September, the pool was something I didn't use, but it was there nonetheless looking clean and inviting.
In the check-in area is a computer and printer for your airline check-ins.
I found this hotel to be wonderful with comfy beds and good lighting, along with very nice interior corridor rooms. I felt safe and secure.response / report this review -

Nice and cozy. Clean rooms, kitchenette doesn't work in room..reception says only microwave and fridge work. Full size fridge was nice. Pool was clean as well as the halls. Nice breakfast: waffles, sausage, eggs, doughnuts, muffins and other breads..

This is an OK hotel and had an interesting experience. I checked in at 1am and called a friend. At 1:30am had a knock at the door with an employee of the hotel and another guest. Ask if I stayed here the night prior. I obviously didn't. He was claiming that I was making loud noise by the running around and jumping for the past 2 hours. I don't know if this guy was trying to scam the hotel out of a free night or what. But I guess there is potential for thin walls. In the morning I could hear lots of coming and goings but I wear ear plugs sleeping and was not affected by it.

Shower was broken,so asked front desk for a help. She said that there is no one else besides her in the morning,so she can't help me, but will try to find someone. 30min later,no call, so I called up again.She told me that she can't find anyone.I told her that I need to take a shower because I have to leave in 30min. She told me to come get a room key at the front desk.When I got to the front desk, she said that she found an engineer person,so he can check the shower, and if he can't fix it,she will give me another room.It was broken, so she gave me another room to take a shower, however,you can clearly tell that the room wasn't cleaned, soap and shampoo were used by someone, used towels were in the bathroom. I was disgusted. On top of that there was no apology at all by her nor engineer person. Very disappointed and will never use this hotel. Not recommended. She needs to work on the customer service skill.

The place is kind of hidden in the back of several other hotels in the same area next to the parking garages. Theres not much space to park your car to check in like most hotels. The room was nice and spacious. Clean room with privacy. It has a mini kitchen and a mini fridge as well as a microwave. Very convenient. The ac blew cold air and was not as loud as other hotels which is nice. The service was great and would return again in the future. Shuttle service is available to Lax airport.

Very nice hotel. The location is somewhat away from the airport but with the shuttle it really was good. The room was clean and it was supplied with the normal bathroom goodies with plenty of fresh towels. The bed was comfortable which is always important to me. Paint and shower fixtures were clearly fresh and new. We will be staying there again.

Excellent pricing, clean well- lit, spacious rooms w\ kitchenette & fridge. A\c, & heater! Staff is very helpful & courteous. Breakfast is not bad at all. Highly recommended!

Booked this motel as a stop over in LA before and after international flights. Great part was the courtesy pick up and drop off between airport and motel. The room was great, plenty of room, lovely comfy bed. The complementary breakfast was superb, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal.Lots of food that set me up for the day. I would definitely stay there again.

Very clean and nice room. There are small kitchen area with sink, microwave, coffee machine and a full size fridge. Coin laundry is right at the second floor, which is very convenient. Above all of those are very nice and friendly staffs. Breakfast is included. Location is about 10 - 15 minutes to LAX without traffic. Definitely stay here again if I have chance!

The hotel itself is not bad. The location of the hotel is not in the best part of town, but the hotel and the surrounding hotels take security seriously. The parking garage is secured and there is no way to get to the rooms without a key. The room was nice; good size room, comfortable bed, and a kitchenette. The lobby is small and has few amenities. In order to get to the rooms, it requires walking along the pool deck (which was a bit slippery during the rain). Finding the hotel was difficult as it is not marked well and everything around is a red zone (except space for one car to check in). The staff was very friendly. Overall, the room was nice and security was good, but the setup was a bit unusual.
