Worst motel ever. It seemed cool at first looked like a little apartment but then we found out they had bed bugs. Found bedbugs right before going to sleep around 3 in the morning. They told us we can leave and get a full refund or stay and get half back. We left around 4 and they never gave my refund even though they gave me a void reciept of sale. Shady buisness.
I guess you get what you pay for here. It's a cheap, crumbly motel, for the unwealthy traveler. Couldn't trust the dirty floor with my feet, even with socks on. Rickety appliances, strange smells, old stuff: not "quaint" old, or "antique" old, more like "made cheaply in the eighties" old. I used their website to reserve a room, but was told at the front desk that they don't do anything online, so I had to start over. And what of my credit card info on their site? As secure as technology allows, I am sure of it. Employees' insistence to not speak to me until they lock the door between us and stand behind bulletproof glass is a testament to something nebulously eerie about the location. I don't trust that I will get my deposit back.
All in all, the cheapest I could find on short notice, and probably worth not paying for better, because I'm poor.
Seems like a decent hotel, very close proximity to the Green line transit station and the freeway. The location provided free WiFi and is across the street from a bar.
This is just the worst motel/inn I've ever been to. Highlight: We have a gas leak in our room and the front desk person just checks in 3 more groups before acting and until we threatened to call 911 I mean, I get that they don't care about their guests, but it's their property blowing up in the worst case Apart from that: our "king room" had a queen bed, the kitchen was empty (not one pot, plate, or anything to be found), the room smelled, the windows didn't shut so it was loud And I could go on forever.
When I go on vacation I don't get a fancy hotel. I would rather spend the money on the activities and souvenirs. With that being said, this hotel actually exceeded my expectations. When the description said it had a kitchenette, I figured a mini fridge and microwave. Nope, this place had an actual kitchen with full size stove, sink, and fridge. I would have bought more food to prepare there if I would have known. The towels were very small, but we had brought our own any way. Close to the freeway, so it was easy to get around town.
BED BUGS!!!!! We found bed bugs in our room, so nasty! Looked like the room hadn't been vacuumed in a long time as well!
Not a bad price, clean, comfortable spot. Not bad at all. Actually much better than expected..Would definitely book again.
It's not very clean. Staff is rude. There are Roaches. Bed stains. Our room smelled like weed.Pool very dirty. Do not waste your money and time. This was the wurst experience for us. Never again!
SPACIOUS! Great for a fair sized family on the move. Multiple rooms/beds, large bathroom and closet, as well as a full kitchen. On site laundry and Free shuttle to LAX about 2 blocks away, liquor store and a few different restaurants within a couple hundred feet. HBO on tvs, clean rooms, friendly staff. Only giving 4 stars for simple things like small towels and slippery comforter.
Relatively good price, location. Staff is not rude but would not say they were too friendly either. No breakfast option and the walls were thin - neighbours were really loud!!!
This morning, I would've rated this place 4-5 stars. The lady on the desk when my crew arrived was very helpful, very nice, let us book our room for a second night when we found we needed it, was great.
However, this evening, found out we needed a second room, and so went to book one. Man on the desk was extremely rude about it, saying the place was booked out. At the time this was happening, one lady and one Canadian couple were there, trying to cancel their rooms. The man was refusing, and being unnecessarily unhelpful and rude to them as well. Frankly, has ruined what was a nice time spent at this hotel otherwise.
If the people who worked at this hotel read this, please have a talk with the man working on the desk 03/31/17. He needs to adjust his attitude towards customers as his current service skills are beyond abysmal.
