When a friend came to Orlando I suggested Alfond. When I pulled up I found polite & welcoming valet. Then I experienced an upbeat and super nice bar tender. The hostess, restaurant server and manager where professional, warm and friendly! I was pleasantly surprised by theme of equality, diversity and unity portrayed throughout with statement pieces of contemporary art. But then at the resturant, there was a small issue with my scallops entree. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make up for it though. They took it off the bill and prepared the salmon with black rice for me to take home! Thank you for the memorable experience Alfond Inn! I'll return for dinner soon, and will recommend the hotel when more guests come to town! Cheers!

This hotel is a surprising gem. A modern, yet inviting lobby adorned with a fabulous art collection, and prompt, helpful service. The rooms are spacious and very nicely furnished. I also had a nice view out of my room, which was enjoyable as well. Great location in walking distance to all of the cute shops and restaurants in Winter Park.

It is a lovely and sweet hotel very hospitable and friendly hotel the only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is because we wanted to sit at the pool area in the evening to relax and could not gain access to it. You cannot even walk out to it after dusk. The Winter Park area is adorable also but an early town everything closed up pretty early.

A luxury hotel tucked away in scenic Winter Park. Excellent service and amenities. Just a few minutes walk from Park Ave featuring fine dining, quaint boutique shopping and an art museum. This hotel also is a completely non-profit establishment with all but operating costs going to Rollins College arts scholarships. I highly recommend staying here even if you live locally. I only live 15 minutes away but the ambiance made me feel like I was on a luxury getaway.

The Alfond Inn was amazing. It’s owned by the local college in Winter Park and was worlds nicer than the nearby Courtyard. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. I had drinks at the bar and found the princes to be reasonable. The check-in process was simple and parking was by valet only. Do yourself a favor and try it, you won’t regret a wonderful night at the Alfond Inn.

We loved the food at Hamilton's Kitchen but the hostess seated other parties that came after us without reservation after we stepped out for few minutes. We ended up waiting 30 more minutes because servers were unavailable when there were so many open seating. When we asked for manager, Chris came over after 10 minutes and did not even apologize but admitted the hostess was new and told us to make reservation. We asked him to place order for shrimp and grits and chicken waffles. He confirmed "grits and CHICKEN WAFFLES" but the server brought waffles without chicken. We asked for manager, but he never showed up. Never received a single apology. I hope the management of the restaurant hires a manager with better listening skills and have some respect for customers.

Arrived for a professional event. The building was beautiful and the staff made the event quite comfortable. The bar beforehand was large and inviting, and the overall atmosphere was great for an event. I definitely recommend hosting here!

I never leave bad reviews because I respect the work and time people invest in marking their business successful. It’s a Great hotel. BUT. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. They billed us for 2 extra night when we left the hotel and refused to give us many back. On top of that they charged $70 and couldn’t even explain what it is for!! We have to do a dispute with a bank and get our money back which took tons of time to do. I feel bad for the hotel owners for having such an idiots working there who cannot even give charges explanations. Very unprofessional. Never staying there again.

We enjoyed our stay at The Alfond Inn. The location was wonderful as it was within walking distance of great restaurants and much more on park Avenue. The room was clean, and the turn down service was a nice touch. We enjoyed the art gallery feel of the decor. Dinner st the restaurant on site, Hamiltons was an added benefit as well. We would definitely stay here again.

The moment you walk in, you can tell how personal this atmosphere is. The eclectic, variegated tone of each powerful or puzzling artwork showcases the tastes and ideas of the Alfond family, while being brilliantly mixed with chic, neutral standard pieces and color pops. This cozy gallery feel is enriched by the sumptuous dark wood tones. As if walking through a well-lived-in mansion, inciting you to explore as every corner holds another facet of the Inn's personality. Lovely food, sunny cultured gardens and courtyards, and friendly service make this an apt choice for any outing to treat yourselves and your loved ones.

Service was great. Menu was a little pricey good thing we had a discount. The facilities we're beautiful with plenty of artwork to look at and Winter Park is always wonderful to visit. If it was colder we would've done outdoor seating since they offer that as well and the scenery was cool.

The Alfond Inn is a beautiful location in Winter Park, FL. My husband and I did not stay overnight at the location, only stayed as dinner guests. It was by far, the best dinner I have ever experienced. The moment we walked in we were showered with attentive service, delectable bites, and a relaxing atmosphere with trendy, modern art only steps away.

A great place to escape, when winter gets you down.. This hotel is almost like a second home. We stayed 5 weeks in a 1 bedroom unit. The staff was great. It is in walking distance to many great restaurants. Banking and supermarket is across the street. A nice morning breakfast available every day and Happy Hour and a light dinner
