I have went here for 3 Years now and its always an amazing experience. I have earned a lot of merit badges and made a ton of new friends. The staff is super nice (besides one). And the Mess hall is air conditioned with actual fountain drink machines. Highly Recommend it!!!

camp lanoche is a beautiful place with heat tons of shade a beautiful Lake two large pools and great merit badge classes but the food tastes horrible the mosquitoes in the very early morning and the evening hours were horrible also the ticks were too but overall it's a great place

I have been four times, and overall, it has been great. i have successfully earned quite a few merit badges there. however, in this summer (2016), it was horrendous. i have always gone with provisional, this time there were quite a few bullies in the provo troop, and they did not respect the ASPL (me), they assailed his tent in the middle of the night (1:00 am), pouring in water, peeing on it, dumping in dirt and leaves, shaking it, and shining a light in his face, the SPL just sat up and laughed. the scoutmaster did nothing in general to reprimand them, although Buba (assistant scoutmaster) did respond to the prank. along the lines of merit badges, most of the time, merit badges were good, however, on the lines of orienteering, fire saftey, and saftey, the councilors seemed unprepared to meet all the requirements. all the pre requirements were not listed, and the entire class was unable to earn the badges. in general, the camp fell far short of the expectations this summer. however, in general, especially if you go with your troop, lanoche is a great camp with a great variety of badges, along with nice councilors.

Great camp! 2 huge pools, beautiful lake, Lots of shade (you really learn to appreciate that during Florida summers). The only drawback was bad cell phone signal unless you have Verizon , but keep in mind, it IS a boy scout camp (resist the need for technology!)!!For those who can't live without it, WiFi is available in the cafeteria. What I found most interesting was the woodsman program taught by Jim Sawgrass. He also put together an incredible Native American program. I highly suggest it for older scouts. Be sure to bring extra money for Yoo-Hoos, at LaNoChe, they are the official beverage of choice!

Camp activities were great! My scout thoroughly had a wonderful time. Only downfall was all the bugs. Everywhere. The ticks were terrible. Overall though, he had a very memorable time
