My sisters and I attend Christmas Tea every year. This year, it was a saturday at 2pm. As everything has been redone, this was a different experience. The service (as always) was perfect. The ambiance was different. We love the piano music, but missed the comfy cozy chairs and warm environment of before. We also were not as impressed with the menu (as we have been in the past). That being said, we will of course be back! Thank you

Do not make the mistake of doing Adolphus Christmas Tea in 2017. To say it was a disappointment would be an understatement. The current staff has obviously never attended or presented a High Tea before. The room was completely understaffed and our seating was only half filled. The sandwich bread was stale, the cucumbers limp and old the scones were overcooked and dry, my jam at home is better quality, the sweet cakes tasted as though they had sat on the counter uncovered overnight. The tea was cold and they did not serve it until late in the service. The items were limited and all food was tired and tasted old. The presentation was simplistic. No pretty silver serving pieces, no beautiful china or lovey linens. It was a joke truely. Shame on them for destroying a wonderful Dallas tradition. The saddest part is that I doubt they know how bad a job they actually did.

Great place. Big closet, comfy bed and linen. Was able to check in very early in the morning so that was greatly appreciated. Great housekeeping and valet. One of the best hotels at an affordable price in downtown Dallas.

This continues to be one of the best hotels for business travelers doing business in downtown Dallas. I highly recommend this hotel and the Joule to my clients, and for the past 10 years of doing so, I have received nothing but positive feedback. Professional service, great central location, and outstanding dining options.

What an awesome hotel - i had the enormous pleasure of staying here several times. I love Dallas downtown and have stayed in most of the four/five stars and they are all good, but the french flavor, wonderful staff and history of this hotel helped me, as a stressed businessman relax and enjoy. I hope one day to bring my wife here as this is a very romantic place.

When Hurricane Harvey hit Houston, we evacuated to Dallas and came here. I was out of town on business and arranged for the travel for my girlfriend and the dogs. They would get there one day before me. I set up the reservation and called the hotel with the request to let me pay for everything online which they did. They could not of been nicer, especially when my girlfriend arrived. The valet attendants were very helpful in getting her, the two dogs and the luggage inside and into the room. The front desk was expecting her and got her checked in without any problems. The room was perfect and the service throughout our stay was stellar. Top marks all around. It has a beautiful lobby as well. Highly recommended.

Our stay at The Adolphus was amazing! My wife and I absolutely loved it. The hotel has a historic, classic vibe. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and pleasant. The bar/lobby area was cozy with unique, comfortable seating for groups to relax and converse. The rooms were spacious and well kept. The price point was reasonable considering the downtown Dallas location - there's plenty within walking distance. Highly recommended!

The renovation has been amazing. While it's still under a lot of work you can barely tell! The rooms were beautiful. The staff were all incredibly friendly. Loved the pool bar staff. This is a place you could spend a weekend getaway and never have to leave with all the places to hangout.

Overall a great hotel. The decor is gorgeous, the concierge lounge is well supplied, and the staff is very kind. They have just recently reopened under the Marriott brand. As such, some things like attention to detail on housekeeping hold it back from being a 5 star. I would recommend it though, especially if working downtown.

Great location downtown. Fast valet. Great food. Very nice people and great service. The hotel has quite a bit of charm and I love it. It does need some extra cleaning here and there, but from what I understand, it is only 5 weeks in as the Adolphus.response / report this review -

The hotel is beautiful. The decor and rooms are breathtaking. What really makes the hotel is the staff. They were amazing. Welcoming and incredibly helpful. Also, amazing drinks at the bar.

Great location downtown. Fast valet. Great food. Very nice people and great service. The hotel has quite a bit of charm and I love it. It does need some extra cleaning here and there, but from what I understand, it is only 5 weeks in as the Adolphus.

What a fancy hotel! The historic setting is tastefully mixed with a modern, artsy décor. The (required) valet parking was efficient. Our room was luxurious and spotlessly clean. Bathroom totally upgraded. We had a room on the corner of the building, and it was very quiet. Didn't hear any guests, and barely heard any street traffic. We were here for an on-site wedding with a seated dinner, which was flawlessly executed. Highly, highly recommend staying here, especially if you can get a corner room!
