I've got to say. I am shocked by the bad reviews. Our stay in March of 2017 was wonderful. the hotel is older but clean. The room was nice. We had a balcony with incredible views of the city. Everything we could possibly need was within walking distance. The staff was kind and extremely helpful. We had no problem finding the parking garage right next to the entrance. The pool was cold but what can you expect it was March. We got our tickets for a great price from booking through the Fan Expo site. We have already reserve our room for the next Fan Expo in April of 2018 and look forward to sharing the experience with our children.

My husband and I have stayed with Crowne Plaza before so we were expecting a better experience. If you’re looking for a good nights sleep, just know that the walls are thin and even though our neighbors weren’t particularly loud, we could hear every word. The staff here was generally rude. The room we were given had a cracked window with tape covering it. There was feces in the toilet, although it appeared that the toilet had been “cleaned” as the toilet seat was up and toilet paper folded. We couldn’t find a single bottle of water in the hotel. When we asked the front desk they simply told us they were out. For such a large chain that is something that just shouldn’t happen. If you’re in the area, I would recommend trying a different hotel.

Loved our first time with this wonderful Keller group!! We met some very friendly and beautiful folks. We thought the attendance would be slim on account of the weather but it seemed to be a good number of people in attendance. Thank you for a great time.

The hotel was fine. Good views of downtown Dallas. It is a bit on the older side and in a sketchy area of downtown. Great access to the dart line, tho, so quick trip to the state fair.

Easy to get to from Love Field using DART. Only costs $2.50. Friendly staff. Good service. Clean and comfortable.

The Crowne Plaza is a nice place to stay. You can tell it is getting old, but has been well taken care of. The rooms are clean and we'll maintained with added amenities like a mini-fridge, a safe, and a flat screen TV. The bed was very nice, I think it was memory foam, and a combo of soft and firm pillows. The bathroom was nice, although it could have used some Drain-o in the tub drain.

Overall, it was a nice and comfortable stay. I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in downtown Dallas.

Stayed there this weekend expecting a four-star experience. It did not happen. We were on the 18th floor overlooking the pool and were excited about spending a day in the cabanas. Pool was dirty and cloudy - you could not see the third step of the pool because of dirty, cloudy water. The front desk gave us only two breakfast vouchers for the weekend - though we had paid for four. We had to remind them next day. The front desk had no change only large bills. We wanted change to tip the valet. It was probably a good thing we didn't get the change. We couldn't find him - finally found him around the hotel corner. He was smoking a cigarette and playing on his phone. In fact, for most of the stay - the valets were smoking, on their phone, and inattentive. Hotel hallways needed a good vacuuming and they finally got one - at 10 p.m. on Saturday night. We heard a bump, bump at our door. Guess what, the hallway carpet was getting cleaned up while we we're trying to relax. Also, on Saturday, a young homeless person was splayed out against the Griffin Street side of the hotel and was not coherent. Police needed to be called. My husband said not to worry as he saw the hotel security walking around the corner and surely he would take care of it. We came back an hour later and the young man was still there, unconscious, drooling from the mouth, and the front desk could see his silhouette through the glass from the inside. We mentioned it to the valet to alert security, call for help, but no one was concerned. There is a definite lack of care at the facility in just about everything they do. We were disappointed and it was not the special weekend we had planned.

HORRIBLE hotel! The pool area does not look like the pictures, the room smelled horrible, a flea bit my husband and Derrick the night employee has no customer training, he coursed at us and we got kicked out and accused us of smoking weed in our room.

I am a huge fan of Crown Plaza hotels, and this place is lovely. My room was on the smaller side, but was a high floor room had an amazing view of the city and was exactly what I wanted and asked for. Staff was very nice, courteous, and made great suggestions to visit the nightclub, and mentioned attractions in the area and answered any questions we had. Room was impeccably clean, everything worked and exceeded my expectations. The pool was beautiful, with a wonderful city view and busy with lots of guests enjoying the scene and sharing laughs with each other. There is a nightclub below the hotel which was also a very sexy and modern design, with good drinks and staff as well. This is likely the best deal you will find in the heart of Downtown Dallas so book and enjoy!

I attended a conference at this location. The food provided was good quality, but there were some issues with keeping the buffet line supplied. The rooms were clean and pleasant. It was a little hard to navigate the various conference room locations. I did not stay overnight here so I cannot comment on the guest accommodations

This hotel was selected by the wedding we were attending. It is a little cheaper than other hotels right in the middle of downtown, and that's pretty much the best I can say for it. I expected a lot more comfort, but the rooms give off a lot more of a "motel" vibe than a "hotel". Especially the beds - ours was incredibly hard and covered with a thin motel-like blanket, not the fluffy comfortable ones I expect from nice hotels (nod to the Marriott). If you are really looking at price, keep in mind that you have to pay $16 for parking. The staff was great, no complaints there at all.

However, with all the other choices downtown, next time I would probably end up staying a bit away and getting better accommodations and using Uber to get around.

Hotel was nice until they erroneously charged my Credit Card $2900 for a corporate meeting room that I did not use. Manager did not know how this happened and was not able to tell me why my card was charged. Hotel is a very bad area and I did not feel safe. The windows are paper thin and I could hear every bus and train that went by. DO NOT STAY HERE

UPDATE: Now after waiting a week to get refunded my $2900, I found out that the Crowne Plaza Dallas hotel has now attempted to charge my debit card unauthorized for $35,384. THIRTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS. The people running this hotel have no idea what they are doing - Now I have to get a new card and switch all of my auto pay services because you incompetent people do not know how to do your job and can charge me again. What makes you think you can charge the WRONG CARD again but for $35000? Brian you have not resolved the problem or attempt to reach out to me at all in this situation. I will make sure my company does not take its services to your hotel EVER again.
