Great food and meat! They also accommodate for food allergies. It was amazing.
Really great place, love the lobster bisque and the endless streams of meat. However, my negative experiences here now outweigh the positives and I will not be back. First, my friend gets her wine knocked into her, soaking both her blouse and pants - this time, we had to ask repeatedly for meat, it seemed the gauchos would stop about two tables away from us, look right at us, then walk away. I think we were here about 40 minutes before it was finally communicated that we would like to eat. When one of the servers was giving us fresh plates she took the side of mashed potatoes, saying she would bring back fresh warm ones. She didn't - and again, about a 10 minute wait while all the servers refused to make eye contact before I finally got someone's attention to bring some potatoes. Additionally, my water glass was perpetually empty, even though the person filling the water glasses would look directly at my water glass. For how many in our party and how much we are charged per person, I expect more.
The service wasn’t that great and I would say that the meat was abundant and if decent quality, however the rest of the food wasn’t all that great. I also definitely would not recommend this place for groups if you plan to socialize. This is a place made for maximum meat (and calorie) consumption.
Used to love this place. Their service has declined and it was terrible. I constantly had to tell the server what to bring out. Carvers rarely came to the table at all. I came for someones birthday and they did nothing about it. I would come here at least once a month but I don't think I'll be coming here anytime soon. The manager gave a lot of attitude as well. I called the next day to complain but they didn't seem like they cared about the horrible experience. I brought 6 other people with me and they felt the same way. I never expected this kind of service for a high end restaurant. Very unprofessional. I also had a 20 dollar off coupon and they wouldn't honor it even though it doesn't expire till next month. The worst Brazilian steakhouse experience.
I've been coming here once or twice a year for years now and the food is always good. Lunch is the best deal although you get fewer options. My girlfriend did the salad option and the server was very good about telling her what items have a meat base. She was very happy with the food and would go back. Pricey but worth it any time! 4 stars since some meat options are out when you get there at times and that can be disappointing
I came to dinner with my family to celebrate a birthday and a graduation. We had a great meal and a wonderful service. We've come many times to celebrate special occasions and tonight was no disappointment. I'ma vegetarian and still love the food. My family enjoys all the different meats, the lamb, chicken, steak, and sausage. And, the desserts
To me Texas De Brazil is the entry level of Brazilian steak houses, the meat and selections are decent, it follows the blueprint of a state side Brazilian bbq with a high end salad bar, but over all the atmosphere (especially being located in the mall) leaves a lot to be desired. You don't have the classy upscale feel others offer. Overall if you're in the area it's not terrible, if you're willing to drive the other restaurants in the chicago land area offer a nicer ambiance and better tasting meat.
This is a family favorite. It is a bit expensive but delicious! The salad bar is out of this world. All the meat cooked to perfection and delightful desserts . I like that you pay a flat fee and don't have to worry about anything else.
It's very fast paced. There's constant people walking around and asking you if you want some meat. I admit it's a fun place but not my cup of tea.
This is one of the most delicious restaurant, i have ever tested.
The new Aussie Lamb is just amazing and service is above par. I recommend it with 5 stars.
Great place for meat and parties. One star off because the service is not the best, the servers kinda hang out in the corner just talking to each other and come out to serve when they feel like it. However, the food is great! Also, don't force yourself to eat a meat that you don't like. It's best to fill yourself up with the meats of your choice. You can also ask the server for a specific cook and type of meat. I asked the server for well-done flank for my kids while I just had the medium rare cuts. The meat server will cut the respective parts.
All in all, I will definitely go there again.
