Always the best but that's just my opinion. Not alot of staff but if your self sufficient and don't require alot of service this is the place. Very tranquil secluded from the rest of the neighborhood and sometimes if you're up late enough the deer are just around on the property. Very nice vibes.

In March Of 2021, I brought and treated my wife Kathy and myself for a wonderful weekend stay at the King Mansion at the Tarrytown House Estate On The Hudson!!! We stayed at the King Mansion to celebrate our great love for one another, and our Happy Three Year Honeymoon Anniversary. We enjoyed every minute of our experience during our stay at this luxurious estate.

The King Mansion is an absolutely elegant and gorgeous attraction on the Tarrytown House Estate, and was one of my favorite hotel to visit and stay. My wife and I instantaneously fell in love with our warm and cozy room, and we were swept and mesmerized by the majestic view of the Hudson River, the Mario Cuomo Bridge and the New York City skyline that we were able to see from our rooftop porch.

My wife and I also enjoyed walking and touring the estate and we took great pictures of the beautiful Biddle Mansion, the Carriage House and the Romanesque statues on the estate lawn.

Guests at the Tarrytown House Estate On The Hudson also get the chance to enjoy complimentary access to an indoor swimming pool and a high quality state of the art gym, both of which my wife and I visited and enjoyed using during our stay.

Every part of our stay at the King’s Mansion at the Tarrytown House Estate On The Hudson was superb and wonderful!!! We recommend that everyone take to the time to visit this wonderful treasure in Tarrytown, New York!!!

Beautiful and elegant venue. The rooms were clean. Sanitation was taken seriously. The TV remote was sanitized and wrapped in plastic when we arrived. Social distancing and mask compliance throughout the entire estate. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. Peaceful and relaxing.

A perfect mini staycation. Being covid aware because of my job I was super impressed and felt extremely comfortable with their precautions, especially when dining at Goosefeather (which is a must, even among locals). The room was comfortable and clean, and with the recent renovation, the bed, pillows, bathroom, and towels allowed for a great night's rest - the G.H. Christ & Soames toiletries were a nice touch as well. Being a fan of architecture, especially of the Gilded Age, the grounds were a delight to walk and relax. Prior to this, the last time I stayed here was in the mid 90s for a friend's wedding and it will not be another 25 years until I come back. Well done!

Great location for an ensemble performance. Parking was adequate. Building was beautiful and very clean. Facilities were well maintained and staff was helpful.

The rooms are spacious and upgraded. The grounds are beautiful and make you feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle, when in actuality, you are only minutes away. Unfortunately, my rating has decreased from a 4 during my visit last year to a 3. The customer service of the front desk staff was just average. For example, when i asked the front desk staff for non-dairy creamer for my coffee from the coffee station in the lobby, they just responded that they don't have any available and were sorry. Mind you, our room was stocked with non-dairy creamer so the front desk staff could have arranged with Housekeeping to have some available. The coffee station was also out of tea and sugar. After the front desk staff's response to the creamer, i dare not ask about these items. Last, before arriving, the front desk staff informed me that the rooms were not equipped with microwaves; however, that they could arrange for one to be placed in our room pending upon availability. Yet when we asked for one upon our arrival, we were informed by front desk staff that it is a fire hazard to have microwaves in the rooms. Either way, i wish we had been given a consistent message regarding the use of microwaves in rooms. To add, the walls are paper thin so you can actually hear conversations and other things occurring in surrounding rooms, and our mattress sunk in the middle.

Large estate with an amazing view. Went there for a short corporate retreat. Food was good, staff was very friendly. Since it's a fairly large place you can get lost easily but the staff helped point the way.

The room was fine. Breakfast was good. It was a little too easy to hear other guests in the hallways and adjoining rooms. I'm glad we did not have much luggage to carry up the stairs.

Such a lovely location. A great place to hold a wedding! All guests can stay on the premises without the need for traveling to and from a number of different locations. Beautiful!

Nice sports activities. Clean roomsand nice location. Green stuff in jacuzzi, smoke alarm battery died at 2 am and chirped till I yanked off wall. Handle kept falling off bathroom door had to call 2 times to get it fixed. Really not what I expected at a place like that.

Great place to stay at. Loved the surroundings. Very clean. The front desk was exceptional. They were always willing to help us out. Special thanks to Karen Sanchez. She was willing to help us out and was patient with her questions. And no, we do not know her. We just met her the same evening we got there.

The place is nice. We've stayed here before. The only thing I didn't like this time was the accessories in our room had an odd temperature variance that cause me to wake up being to warm. Overall a nice place. We dis not eat at cellar 49 this time as it was to expensive for the value last time.

The location is easy to find, just a 35 minute drive North of the City. The conference rooms were well equipped and there were plenty if available drinks and snacks as the conference day went on. The lunch, while crowded, was delicious with a good number of options. A nice place to go for a corporate getaway.

The grounds are pretty, rooms are very simple and corporate looking I would probably recommend staying in the mansion for more of the historic feel the heated indoor pool is wonderful! The $25 buffet breakfast is way overrated and not worth it IMHO - head into town for cafe and diner fare so you can enjoy great local food!

The room is very nice. Large, quiet and very comfortable. The indoor pool and fitness center is also great. Parking can be a bit of a pain especially of you leave the grounds and come back late; you'll wind up walking quite a while back to your room. This place is also quite the labyrinth, while there are signs to guide you around, the layout is not very intuitive.

We spent 4 days here for a long getaway weekend and enjoyed the spectacular views of the Hudson River from the grounds. The restaurant was fabulous and we would stay here again when visiting the area. We also took the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery Saturday night tour which was fabulous!
