First and last stay. Rooms are awkwardly designed/detailed. Room had a dirty rug smell and smelled like cigars in the restroom! They advertise international breakfast and the only warm item they had was toast! You had an option of muffins, Mini danishes/croissant, basic fruit apples and oranges , cold cereal and yogurt. They call themselves Royal Regency but don’t even serve hot breakfast and serve there guest with plastic plates, forks and knifes!? You couldn’t even bring your breakfast to your room!!! And for it to be Christmas I feel it’s a bit rude. Heat was too low all over hotel! Again for it to be Christmas completely disappointed and will not be recommending!!!

Wonderful ambiance. They reiterate no parties in the rooms. Apparently, they've had an issue with this in the past. Employees were very nice. Breakfast was in the hotels bar/lounge. Decent breakfast. They have a strict policy of not allowing food outside the bar to take to the rooms. There's a person who sits outside and monitors who goes in and what you come out with.

Room was modern, great space. Room service was lackluster, I would recommend not to order the food. Price was reasonable and ample parking. Just off the Saw Mill Parkway.

All the employees here have been very sincere. I’m out here on a business trip from Miami. my experience so far having been here 3weeks has been pleasant. I feel very comfortable. There hasn’t been any riff raft or issues with other tenants. I would definitely suggest this place for anyone looking for a place that’s affordable and welcoming.

Nice, modern hotel, clean, the only thing that bothers a little is the mold in the shower. Breakfast bar was good, they even have a bar, where you can go for a drink in the evening. Staff was nice, too. Could be a little friendlier.

I stayed at the Royal Regency Hotel for my best friend's wedding What an exquisite boutique hotel and amazing venue!! Would highly recommend for a stay or to host your social or professional event. All of the staff members were friendly, professional, and accommodating they really go above and beyond! The rooms were very clean, dinner & breakfast was simply delicious. Thank you to the staff for excellent customer service! Would stay here again.

The best hotel experiences I have had in a very long time!

The Best of the Best: It is not often you leave a hotel feeling as if you were residing with old friends!

My stay at your hotel during the weekend of May 14, 2017 was above extraordinary! Your team from the Front Desk staff, Restaurant Barmaids, Housekeeping was phenomenal.

The Royal Regency Hotel provided me with an unexpected and very welcomed customer service experience. The facility was clean, esthetically pleasing and the grounds were manicured and full of fragrant blossoms. A nice welcome to the beginning of Spring. Over the years I have had many opportunities to stay at hotels and resorts, but I cannot recall a time that I experienced a more enthusiastic, customer focused, and the overall team members attention to detail. This facility is one of the best of the best. I have not experienced anything like it in years. I would encourage anyone looking to stay in the Hoboken area to seek out this facility for their travel accommodations.
    Great Job!

We've been guests here several times a year for the past few years. They've got some of the best rates in the area, and terrific customer service. The complimentary breakfast is slightly better than the standard hotel fare - fresh and well stocked throughout the morning. A word of caution - if you're traveling with anyone other than your significant other, think about how much you're willing to share before running together. The bathroom is 100% tile, which is great for acoustics but awful for privacy, especially if you make a potty trip in the middle of the night. The bathrooms have pocket doors, and the wall between the room and the bathroom is a sliding frosted door, which often doesn't close completely. Neither of those doors have locks.

Everyone was very nice but as another review said, it's a glorified motel. It's beautiful on the outside and the inside common areas. However, the rooms are small. The sliding doors to the bathroom were very cool until you learn they don't close all the way and everyone in the room can see you in the bathroom. The beds squeak so loud that sleep was almost impossible. I had high hopes for this hotel. I won't be staying again but it's okay for a night. Not too bad. If you have some extra cash, the Residence Inn by The Marriott is much more comfortable. It includes a full size fridge and a microwave which the Royal Regency lacks.

Great customer service, neighbourhood is close to an open mall with variety of shops and restaurants. The rooms are a little small but they are nice and cozy. Overall, Great experience.

I was just at this place for a social event. The ball room was very nice and so was the outdoor dance room. There wasn't any valet parking but I was at least able to get a spot close to the exit. The was good but not great.

I came here for the Brunch/Day party. The atmosphere was awesome. The food was great. There was a DJ that came on at 3pm and he was killing it. The best part it was an older crowd 30 and over so everyone was respectable and just wanted to eat good food and listen to great music. I would recommend the brunch at the venue to anybody looking to have e a great time.
