An excellent place to go for tacos that stands true to my rule that it's the total shacks that have the best, most authentic Mexican food. I just had some of their chicken tacos and marinated pork tacos. They were both excellent but the marinated pork tacos blew me away. I'll definitely be back!

Cheap and delicious; doesn't get much better than that. Be sure the get the tamales while they last! They're made fresh daily.

Best tacos in grand rapids! However; the bridge street location hasn't been the same quality as I've promised before, but the downtown market is! I wish the bridge street location still cared about quality and service. I was a regular, but no longer familiarize with that location.

Authentic Mexican restaurant taste at an affordable price. I've been frequenting Tacos El Cunado for about three years and it is consistently delicioso! Fresh and homemade from scratch, right down to the hot sauces.

Extremely casual mostly take out authentic Mexican. You will find no wet burritos here.

I like this place its a small neighbor hood restaurant that has that real authentic taste,though the prices seem a little high for me but the saying goes you pay for what you get and with this place I would have to agree. very very delicious food nothing premade out the freezer just real home cooking. my thoughts would be 5 star if there was inside dinning or at least more room to order your food it is as big as a phone booth very tight and uncomfortable when ordering.

A little shack of a place, you'll have to do some maneuvering just to get into the place. Your work will be rewarded though, with some fantastic down-home Mexican food.
The chorizo is fantastic, though you should probably limit your consumption if you value your arteries. I love the steak tacos, the burritos, all fantastic.
Beverages are all in cans or bottles, so if you like to drink a lot of liquid, you're going to want to make other arrangements. That said, you can get faygo in a can, which is pretty great.
Reasonable prices, with $5 you won't leave hungry.response / report this review -

Chicken gotta was very good. They have nice horchata, very creamy. You will probably pay about $7-10 a person. They do have a taco Tuesday special and some specials on Wednesday

Great, authentic, hole in the wall place to eat Mexican. No seats​ inside but picnic tables outside or takeout. My dish could have been a little warmer but won't stop me from coming back again.

Best Tacos I have ever had. I will go out of my way 30 minutes just to smell the great scents emitting from the dumpster behind Tacos El Cunado.
