My favorite Mexican place in Vista. The location is a little wacky to get to because if you're on the opposite side of the road, you have to make a U-turn, but it's worth it every time. Prices are a little high, but you get so much food!!

Best burritos in town: San Felipe (surf & turf + a free drink) & Don Pasado (bacon ends and pieces, chicken, shrimp, super yummy)

Santa Anna is authentic, great tasting Mexican food. They are not overpriced like some other places offering the same cuisine. The staff there is always friendly and I am always satisfied after I go there. Nice atmosphere, clean and well taken care of. I recommend this place anytime you are in the Vista area and are hungry for Mexican food.

Like the hours. Decent prices & portions. Without any condiments i feel like the food may be a bit bland. This is the kinda of a hole in the wall place, best Mexican food I've had in awhile though, authentic taste otherwise & nice service

This is a great place to go anytime, but especially when it is late at night when most other restaurants are closed and you don't feel like subjecting your body to fast food. The food here is really good! It all tastes authentic and there is a great variety of options on the menu whether it be a la carte or combination plates. The only negatives for us are 1)super loud atmosphere - either the music or the Mexican soap operas on the TV are blaring and there is no fresh-brewed ice tea. So we have water instead. There are a few outside tables next to the street if you want to escape the inside or you can always do take-out.

Good food considering its one of the few places open after midnight. The staff is always delightful and courteous. They never seem to rush you through your order.
