One of the few high end vegan (If not the only high end vegan) restaurant south of the Potomac. The food was well prepared, tasty, well presented and the service (Juan) was attentive and friendly. The interior is stylish and the music is background music, i.e. not too loud. Highly recommended for plant based vegans!
The food was very bland and extremely overpriced. I ordered lasagna and sauteed kale. The lasagna had very small pieces of vegetables and entirely too much cheese. The kale tasted like water. For $30! I would not recommend this place at all. When asked about the chef, the waitress advised that "there is no chef. Just people working in the kitchen".. everything tasted frozen. Waste of money & time.
Service was non existent 🤔 There seemed to be a preferable order to whom they(my server) provided service to. Food is great was a regular, but unfortunately the level of service has changed that.
I don't like to 86 a place because of a bad server so give em a try.
This is a nice vegan restaurant. The cauliflower appetizer was delicious as well ad the vegan cutlets. Other foods were good also.
This was our first time in a vegan restaurant. We came for our anniversary as I am newly vegan. Babe wanted to make sure I enjoyed dinner! AMAZING! Mitchell (our server) was very kind, knowledgeable, quick, and had great conversation with us. The food was incredible. My bf thought the lasagna he ordered was just okay. But, I was in love it! I ordered the sublime piccata, which was to die for! We, also, had the Martin Ray Chardonnay that Mitchel recommended and it was perfect! For desert we finished with the apple tart and we both enjoyed it. He is not vegan, but decided to try some food for me. Overall we both really enjoyed the food and the service was impeccable!!! A+++
Lovely atmosphere. Huge place with great service and decent portions of very tasty veg food. Would give five stars, but the lemonade is Minute Maid (ew!) and the chocolate nirvana cake was dry and unimpressive.
Fancy ambiente is nice. But food is overpriced and basically frozen food which you can get from the supermarket as well. We had a Mac and cheese which tasted exactly like Amy's frozen vegan Mac and cheese. Another one was a trader Joe's breaded cauliflower. Drink had no alcohol. I would not go there again. Too expensive.
I love Sublime. It is elegant and the food is amazing. My problem is the salad portion sizes. I ordered a Caesar salad to go and everything was shoved into a tiny box that they usually put fries in. How can that little salad fill anyone up even if it was considered a side dish. I am disappointed because I love the Caesar salad so much it is spectacular, but if i just want a salad how is that portion going to satisfy me. Maybe I should buy two? No, that would just be a waste of money. Thank you for your time and service.
Friendly staff and amazing vegan food. Best part was learning that 100% of profits are donated to animal welfare ❤️
Amazing! Fully vegan menu full of delicious appetizers, entrees, and cocktails to tantalize your taste buds. Unbelievably good food and a wait staff that is incredibly attentive and friendly. Can not wait until the next reason to come to Sublime!
This place is really cool, we will come back many times. 100 percent of the profits go to the animals. Excellent food and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!
I have been coming to this restaurant for years and can say it's definitely gone down the drain for a while but today was the last straw. Rude. Rude. Rude. I think vegans should be tolerant, happy people, not assholes. This restaurant is not child friendly at all. Expect to be kicked out if you have even a well behaved child. Seriously, anything above a whisper is considered "intolerable". I feel bad for the owner Nancy who started the restaurant with good emotions in her heart. Oh and the food is also boring - does the menu ever change? And dry. And overpriced. It was an easy decision after today's incredible rudeness to blacklist this overrated place. Look elsewhere for a cruel free meal. You won't find it here.
I had the cashew cheese which was really great. And I had some type of lemon pepper chicken, it was okay. My friend had the lasagna and that was good. All in all, it's an okay restaurant to go to. It's nice inside, but the food quality doesn't match, but hey it is vegan. Our server didn't speak very much the English, it was very hard to understand the gurl.
