  This place is jammed pack the last 2 times I and my fiance attempted to dine here on Thursday night. Which is their ladies night, so that explains it. But, I have ate here before on a Saturday when taking a friend out for her birthday dinner and the food & drinks was good. The scenery is nice and romantic!

  A wonderful experience to end our family vacation. Excellent cuisine, a tour for my 13 yr old foodie stepson from Dylan, and a warm reception from all staff. One of the highlight meals of our trip!! Highly recommend.

  Enjoyed the patio. Music was a little loud but the table and overall atmosphere was great. Food was wonderful. Has 2 stone crab claws with dinner. Fabulous.

  Great venue for a weekend brunch. Get there early if you to get a table outside as it can get very very busy. Food was excellent especially the jumbo crab claws which were one of the specials. Cocktails were great, can recommend the Dirty Cosmo or the Minty Melon. Service was super friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back when next in the area

  Loved it! Mainly for the watermelon drink I had. This is within walking distance from Embassy Suites and many of the other hotels in Ft Lauderdale. The employees are awesome, the food delicious and is right in the bay. No wait time. It's okay to take your family or do as we did and just go as adults drinking, having fun and then able to walk back to our hotel. Food is awesome, drinks are awesome. I highly recommend trying the melting watermelon drink. 2 was over my limit, but I had a wonderful time.

  Our experience was great! The atmosphere was beautiful, relaxing and romantic! My wife and I went there on a Friday evening on a cool breezy night. We had a table outside right on the water(no reservations). We were told that the wait would be 45 mins but it was only about 20. There are a lot of areas to lounge while you wait for for table and you get service! I remember seeing 3 bars, one inside, one outside and one in between. We sat by the outside bar in a lounge area with fire pit table and received service immediately. We ordered drinks and their signature bread appetizer which took less than 5 minutes. As soon as we got the appetizer, our table was ready! I was actually surprised how good the food was I had a salmon entree and my wife had a snapper entree. Both delicious! Will definately visit again!

  It is a very nice venue, attentative staff, awesome atmosphere but the food is seriously over priced and the quality of the food is sub par. I had the conch fritters and while the appearance looks appetizing, it was seriously lacking that unique flavor conch fritters have. The boatyard burger was a bit better but again for the price, not worth it. And the french fries that came along were of mediocre quality, the off brand fries you find at your local supermarket. All in all a nice venue, over priced and sub par quality food, and great staff. Wont be visiting again though. A visit once and never come again experience.

  Not my favorite place. The food was only so so, our waitress forgot to ring in both appetizers and was not knowledgeable about the wine list. I had a nice time because it was my friends birthday and I tipped our waitress 20% but I was less than impressed. Maybe next time it will be better if we ever return.

  Nice place for the occasional stop. Conveniently close to the convention center. Clean, friendly with the nautical flare. Outside seating in the back offers dock view. The whole back side is mostly glass, so inside seating with AC is more comfortable & the view is hardly diminished. The bread is awesome before or after meals. Entrees are usually excellent with greens to match. Valet parking is available and takes up all the close spots. For the independent travelers, (-) 1 star.

  Amazing food! All 5 in our party were happy. I had the surf & turf special and split the cauliflower, asparagus, and mashed potato sides with the table. The steak was good, but maybe cooked a bit more than my requested medium rare, the shrimp were perfect. Tried the scallops which were cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. We finished the meal by splitting the key lime baked Alaska and apple tart which were both good. Our server, Ryan, was prompt, friendly, and explained everything to us well and with patience. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

  This place must be on your list. The paella is totally delicious, forget about what your experience has been on paella. this one will floor your palette and get you to order wine bottle after bottle. oh, and you must save room for the key lime Alaska dessert!! outstanding service, great people watching and awesome location.

  2 Stars to not go any lower. They need to reinvent themselves. The food is average and not on par with the ambiance. The restaurant is great but if the food is not it won't work. Make efforts it will pay in the long term. Been there 20 to 30 times. Many of my clients agreed it was not on par. Step up.

  This restaurant was beautiful in every aspect. Excellent service. Phenomenal food. Amazing ambience. We came for lunch during the week. It had been pouring down rain when we arrived. I certainly wish we could have sat on the patio/deck, but even so, the interior of the restaurant was immaculate with an open feel. We asked and received seating by the large panel windows that face the canal. I ordered a salmon BLT with an Asian slaw. No complaints.

  Beautiful modern interior with plenty of room, even if busy I wouldn't feel crowded. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the pork chop was delicious. Great bar scene on the water. Nice staff and cool bartenders. I'll be back.

  Great special occasion restaurant, decent food, good service, and a little pricey.
  Try the grilled salmon salad for a light dinner or split it at lunch. Great outdoor dining..
  Enjoy..
  Recently revisited ,very disappointing.
  Could not get into Coconuts, and went back to the Boatyard. The food was not acceptable and was returned.
  Have a cocktail, and move on.
