The Genius Bar was great - diagnosed a battery problem on my iPhone. Decided to upgrade the phone instead and had the worst sales guy ever - spent over three hours trying to purchase the phone when he forgot about our store credit and didn’t know what he was doing with getting the phone details over. The manager came over twice and helped us within 5 minutes. I would go to any of the other local Apple stores first but if I had to go to the Galleria Apple I would ask for the manager much sooner.
Worst service ever of any Apple store I’ve visited in the last 15 years in 4 different states. This would be half a star if I could since they finally got to us. After waiting 3 hours 17 minutes we were told what the person checking us in should have told us. The techs do a lot of socializing with each other while customers wait for service, Skip this store! There are many other good apple techs elsewhere.
I visited this store two weeks ago having arrived the day before from Trinidad and Tobago to have my Apple MacBook Pro Retina diagnosed as it was indicating that the battery needed servicing. The store was very crowded but there were several assistants. I was attended to in twenty minutes and asked to return an hour later as the technician would then be available to diagnose the problem with my laptop. I left and returned at the time I was told and I was seen by the technician who confirmed that the laptop's battery had to be changed. The service was very good despite the crowds.
I placed an order from my Apple Store App on my phone for pickup at Apple Store Galleria Mall in Ft. lauderdale and after waiting more than 4 hours, I never got the email for pickup, (they already had the transaction on Pending from my credit card)I called customer service and spoke with Jackie and asked her about the status on my order she recommended to cancel the order an go directly to the store as many customers do, I asked her if Apple offer the service of placing an order for pickup and the product shows up available why after 4 hours I got no info about it. any way I had to cancel the order let see how long Apple takes to lift the $2.200 pending charge on my CC.
Apple, other customer that you just lost!!
I visited this place in past. It was not so bad. This time long long wait even after taking appointment. Took 3-4 visits to get something fixed which should have been diagnosed and fixed in first visit. Most common answers, we do not have part we will order. Considering switching to windows. Mac is loosing its edge :(
Usually always busy when I go there but always get called on before the estimated wait time. Staff are always helpful and very friendly have yet to meet a rude staff member at this location. I had an issue with my phone volume button and crashing issues and the helpful staff member was able to swap my phone out for a new one. Although I have many issues with my iPhones they always help me to the best of their ability and my issues always get resolved. Thanks apple!
Why have an appointment if they are going to ignore it
All I needed to do is drop off the iPad which was approved by Apple care on the phone, now I have to wait for a tech to diagnose it after it was done last week and by Apple care 3 times for the same issue. I could’ve exchanged it from Apple care on the phone, but I wanted faster so they said drop by the store and they will change it for you. What a nightmare of a store and techs
My iPad Air 2 would not turn on 2 years to the date of purchase, I tried all the suggestions on the Apple website but no success so I knew it was hardware issue. I made an appointment, the wait was long. They hooked the iPad to there computer to run diagnostic test, but of course it’s not powering on. They mentioned that I would have to purchase a brand new one for $300 which I thought was ridiculous, there reasoning is if it doesn’t turn on they do exchange it, which dumb in opinion. Although my tech named Chris was very nice and was able to give me 10% discount toward a new one. I felt more could have been done. Apple is a take it or leave it when comes to there pricing. I wish they had more of an incentive when it comes to purchasing there products, instead of always pushing to buy something at full price. The manager even told me that I should be thankful that there even giving me a discount which I thought was rude and that had I brought Apple care I won’t have had this problem. All in all it all about money, never the customer . You live and you learn!
I always have a great experience, when visiting the Apple Stores, in this case at The Galleria Mall in Ft. Lauderdale. Issues with products always arise, no matter how good we care for them. The Tech Rep who helped me this time was Karl; a very professional, knowledgeable and helpful Tech, who solved my issue with my iPad in practically no time. I was at the store a total of 30 minutes, which is how long it took to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. I highly recommend Karl and is just to recognize his excellent work. All Techs at the stores are there to help customers in the most expeditious, gracious and professional way, I as a customer, appreciate the care they offer me.
The Apple Store at the Galleria provides great service and manages the waves of customers well.
The entire staff works together and I especially appreciate the assistance from the Apple For Business team. They have helped me countless times, providing sound advice and going above and beyond of what is expected.
They replaced my entire phone for the price of a screen replacement today! I had the verse time today at AT&T store @ 1135 N Federal Hwy. they lied to me selling products with free replacement like a screen protector and didn't tell me it costs $6-20 for shipping PER SCREEN PROTECTOR which weights NOTHING! They try to DOUBLE DIP into your pocket! Apple will replace products or accessories if you have issues. They replaced my lighting cable & MacBook Pro case today for free! They actually care. They are very reasonable and their customer service is TOP NOTCH! Apple ALL THE WAY!!! Much love! Thank you again!
Bad service, rude people. They act like you should be grateful to give them your money. If you see a nose rig run for the hills.
Apple's tech Joseph helped me in a difficult unusual problem. He can only be described as truly exceptional & professional. I have worked in the past in service industries, where customer services essential to success. He made what was a difficult situation and complicated,easy-going and acceptable going above and beyond.
What a great experience! Went in to change out my phone because of some glitch. As I'm waiting my turn to see a technician a woman walks up who is professionally dressed and attractive. She was a manager or the person who runs the store, I'm not sure which. She introduced herself and damn if I didn't forget her name. But I'll describe hermaybe 5'8 long black hair, dark eyes, slender build with tan skin, holding a cup of coffee. Now I'm in uniform because I'm a Sgt at the Sheriffs Office. I tell you this because this attractive professional woman thanked me for my service etc and said she was going assist me. I've been a cop for almost twenty nine years, the hatred for what we do is probably at the lowest I've seen. Trust me I get it. BUT I'm a good guy who has never been suspended etcthis professional attractive woman renewed my faith that all people don't hate or fear us. She was very sincere and genuine. I told her I would give a hug but I didn't want to make a spectacle of her or me. She has this gentleman with her who looks up my name and says a technician will be out shortly. Within minutes Wendy comes out and introduces herself. She is so polite and friendly. She tackles my phone issue like a pro. As she is working on my phone I found out she is busting her butt trying to finish RN school while working at Apple for three years and loves it. She also helps out with her mom and two younger sisters. I was impressed with her story and if her mother reads this, you got one hellva good daughter. Wendy did an outstanding job! Now for whoever runs Appleyou have two great employees that I mentioned. I hope someone from corporate takes the time to recognize them. They made you look good! Thanks again!
Talk about Apple elitists who talk down at youfirst off I went into the store looking for assistance only to have multiple employees not make eye contact and walk right by me. When I got my phone serviced I had to pay with Apple Pay because I left my wallet at home. When they gave me back my phone my card wasn't on the phone because I had to reset my Touch ID. The guy had the nerve to tell me there's no way of recovering my card through Apple Pay. And when I tried explaining that there's a way of recovering the employee kept cutting me off. I had to tell him to be quiet and let me speak. Finally I set up Touch ID and had access to my card on Apple Pay and showed him wrong.
Also while I was waiting I listened to an employee aggressively pitch an iPhone to a customer while talking down at them. Since I work in sales I knew exactly what he was doing and I just laughed at his attempt and told the customer not to listen to him.
