Absurdly bad and slow service. Not everyone’s drink order was taken. Water was scarce and never refilled. The water-filled tequila bottles for self-refilling are fine, but we were not given enough and they were not replaced within an hour after they were emptied. 90 minutes after ordering all but two people at the table had their entrees. The milk was undrinkable. Some items never came.

The last,3,times I ate there the same thing happened. Waited at least a half hour to get the guacamole. They bring out the chips right away but no guacamole. Same story only have one cart tonight so they have 1 person for the entire restaurant which is so bad considering the restaurant is big and crowded a real turn off. As far,as food goes you want it to be better but it is truly average. Great for kids though. The bar is cool to hang out and have some drinks and appetizers but I would skip eating there. Don't need to.

The food was very ordinary compared to the setting and the hype. I have had better Mexican food in smaller and more cheaper places. This experience left me disappointed and may never to back again.

Pretty decent place especially for a large group. The guacamole is pretty great and the chips have a delicious seasoning. I’ve only gotten the sweet plantains before but highly recommend. I’d appreciate if the waiter would ask if we’d like to order food before an hour goes by though because chips and salsa gets tiring.

Vegetarian review
I had the fresh guac and enchilada vegetariano. The guac was good but I wouldn't say it was wow. I've had some real good fresh guac before which had more tang and spice to it. The chips were good, it had some different kind of seasoning on it.
The enchilada was interesting it included veggies like green beans, snap peas which you wouldn't ever expect in an enchilada. It had some sweet potato, fajita veggies which was good. There was also some light green color veggie which I wasn't sure what it was.
My drink: I got the pineapple fusion mojito which was not that great. It came to my table slightly watered down. Mojito usually has a fresh mint and tiny tinge of sweetness to it. This lacked both. All in all I wasn't impressed.response / report this review -

If you love tasty guacamole, there's no substitute for their 'made fresh at the table' guacamole experience. With the seasoned tortilla chips and a cold Dos Equis dark, you're off to a good start. My favorite dish on the menu is the Korean Tacos. I know you're thinking that those words don't belong together, but Rocco's will make that connection clear to you. You can see that I like to stop by in the slower hours of the day. You definitely won't see empty tables during prime timebut you'll enjoy the surroundings while you wait.

Late Night muchies:
My wife and I came here n we enjoyed the tacos, nachos, n drinks. The food is really great. Also our server. Courtney was very polite, sweet, n had a warm smile. I would definetly come back. The Quesidillas were very dry and plain. There was a nickle sized spot of cheese in each slice and the small amount of salsa that comes with the meal was only enough for one slice. If you want enough sour cream for the whole plate each little steel shot cup (less than an oz.) is an additional 50¢ a serious turn off.
The Tacos were real good and loaded on the first round of the all you can eat special but the additional rounds of tacos were half way filled in comparison to the first and again the sour cream that came with the first plate was only enough for the first two tacos. Then an additional 50¢ for each additional (partial oz.) shot.
The waitress was more attentive to the tables on either side of us but she was friendly when she engaged us. When my wife tried to express her dissatisfaction with the condiment ration and the lack of cheese and dryness the waitress cut her off and tried to change the subject.
Very disappointing first visit. We eat out a lot and in various types of restaurants and have no problem paying a premium for ambiance and quality of cuisine. However, the hype and price do not match the reality at the table. We most likely will not be back to Rocco's Taco's.response / report this review -

My friend recommended this place for tacos and margaritas. Food and drinks were good, but the service was a bit off. Bartender seemed moody and prepared cocktails quarter less. I certainly felt judged by the looks.

Slow service great for paying attention to food allergies, out of food desired, food was not to my liking with an unwillingness to remove food that comes on or with order. Pork taco to greasy nothing but cheese tomatoes and grease shrimp taco nothing to it but cheese add some lettuce. Quantity you receive for side order to costly. Atmosphere perfect love it.

Found the food to be well prepared and tasty. Everything was fresh and served promptly. They make a mean Margarita in various flavors. This was my second time here and it seems to be consistently good.

This place has a fun casual atmosphere. I have found that seating and service has always been fast even with a lot of people. Plenty of seating outside in a covered patio that faces a pedestrian area with other restaurants just across, so the view is relaxing, no cars or noise. If you decide you want something else the other options are right there.
The food is your basic mexican food, nothing gourmet or innovative, but the quality of the ingredients is better than average. They have good homemade sauces in glass bottles if you like your food spicy.
This is a place to go with family or friends when you just want to relax in a nice laid-back setting.response / report this review
