Excellent selection and variety of Funky Buddha beers and some guest taps too. The bartender Arman knows his stuff! Get a sampler! So fun! He’s great at suggesting what you might like and pointing you in the right direction. Such a chill environment and welcoming place. Will definitely come back to hang out.

1st time going here - Staff was extremely rude & ignorant. Place wasn't even busy, as it was a Monday night. Not a place for acoustic musicians. Our experience would've gone a lot differently if we were treated with a warm welcome or offered a menu.

Attended a concert given by a budding performer Jordan Sky who writes and composes the dongs she sings while playing the guitar. The ambience of the place made the occasion perfect and the appetizing dishes served were delicious. The assortment of beerd is phenomenal!!!👍👍👍

This place is awesome! I just moved to the Florida last month and this place is so cool: live music, great beer brewed in house and others, also the staff was very friendly I even ended up talking with some of them and will be visiting with more friends next time.

Been coming here since they opened and will continue to come for the foreseeable future.
To start, the staff have always been friendly and attentive, even on busy comedy nights when there is only 1 to 2 servers you still get service at a reasonable time.
If you are a fan of hookah (like myself) this is a great place and I suggest "Incredible Hulk" flavor. If you aren't into hookah this is still a great place for a drink and a night out with friends. It never reeks of hookah and the atmosphere is more of a coffee lounge then hookah bar.
To the beer, of course I love beer and have been drinking funky buddha before they got big. The lounge likes to test beer that might not make it to a bottle so if you keep and open mind and love odd beers you will have a blast, gotta love the rice crispy beer.
The food is alright nothing special but not bad. The spinach and artichoke dip is my favorite thing to order but it isn't really a place for meals.

I am not one to write reviews but my experience and that of my friends was so bad at this place that I feel I have no other choice. Last night my husband and I went to this place where he was to perform @ open mic night. We had a group of friends who came to show support. We sat in the front and as soon as the MC got on stage we were targeted. I understand that this is part of any comedy act, but every act after continued to use us and each act would be more disrespectful and degrading than the last. Then before my husband was to get on stage an act was clearly targeting my husband and made it clear he knew that he was about to perform. Finally when my husband and our friends got on stage to perform some of the "comedians" were so unprofessional and were purposely acting in a way to disrupt the act. Meanwhile we were respectful of each act whether we agreed with their statements or not. After the performance, which no one was able to enjoy due to the ignorance and rudeness of the other acts, a "comedian" came on stage and not only began to talk trash about the performance, but followed it by berating out dear friend for 10 minutes using racist slurs and it culminated with him using his mic stand to hit our friend on the head. NOT ONE staff member stopped him and the MC who is supposed to control the environment and keep it a safe space was laughing and allowing the disrespect to continue. I can't understand how the Funky Buddha can allow such hate and disrespect as part of their brand. It was my first time time at this and any Funky Buddha and it will be my last. An open mic night is an opportunity for people to show all types of talent and being hateful and spouting grotesque, obscene things that I can't even repeat about women is so sad to see. If this is what the Funky Buddha chooses to represent I see how low they vibrate.

As a women of dignity, respect, and an avid member of our south Florida community, I write this review to let others know I will never step close to this place again and hope that if you choose to go there please make sure you have no expectations. This environment is toxic to our community. Last evening, a friend of mine was invited to be a special feature to share his talents and gifts during the open mic. From the moment we walked in we were completely disrespected, targeted, cursed at, put down, rejected, and this was unacceptable. I was personally attacked by the MC and one of the comedians who actually hit me on my head with his mic stand. I will be reporting this. Management should be aware of this cruel type of attitude and abuse by a drunk group of people. The abuse I and the others received got so bad, people in the crowd was telling them to stop. This is no way to treat humans.

Maybe it was just the night my friends and I went, but as soon as we walked it was a terrible experience - except the band flux that was playing, they were amazing.

If you're the type not to believe 1 stars or you give benefit of the doubt, just read and take fair warning.

    1. Younger newer looking Bartender had a mix up with my girlfriend over trying a beer that was new and flat and was berated in front of us by the "manager".

    2. Took the "manager" about 15 minutes just to turn around and serve me and about 4 other strangers drinks or take orders, at one point he even told the couple next to me "let's just do one order of a time" and came off EXTREMELY rude to everyone else at the bar - short and non accommodating.

    3. Despite the fact it's a hookah bar with people blowing smoke all over anyway, the "manager" came by our table and berated my friend for his vape pen he'd brought in. I can understand making money off hookah but you don't berate customers. End of story.

    4. We complained to another employee, in fact the one this said "manager" had just yelled at in front of us, and the poor kid immediately became hostile and gave attitude the rest of the night. I hope he just did so for his job cuz he was a real jerk as well.

    5. The only person who was actually polite, was he older gentleman who walked in later and helped at the bar. Thank you for actually attentive service and no attitude mystery guy.

I've been coming here for over 5 years, back when amber, alex, Dave, and a select few others worked here. It was much different and very welcoming family atmosphere then. This was the first time I'd come back after maybe 3-4 months. I came with high expectations as usual.

    Tl;dr

Bottom line, I don't like walking into a bar I'm familiar with and expecting the level of service I'm used to and instead being met with animosity and hostility for no reason. We spent money and you gave us attitude instead of respect. Shame on the both of you.

This place used to be a gem. Now it's really lost it's touch. 0/10 would not recommend.

Stopped in with my son for dinner. Food was minimal and not described properly. Took forever to prepare. Was unable to eat what they eventually did bring due to food allergies not mentioned in menu. Highly recommended going elsewhere.
