Love this place. Their home-made chips is brilliant. Drinks are very good, service is great. For some reason, I have never seen this pub crowded, which is slightly off-putting. The food variety is great - I am a fan of their frisco burger. It would be nice if they are open a little late - they currently close at 10 on weekends and at 9 on weekdays.

Great appetizers! Great food! (I think that their BATTERED tenderloin is the best in town!) Not your average pub food!

Yummy wingsand all sauces are made in-house, which makes them even better! their fries and onion rings could use a little more seasoning though.

Small and cozy place in Downtown Lafayette. Serves decent food and drinks. I liked how quiet it was. There was a movie being played on TV which I watched as I sat there. Good place to hang out with friends.

It's a good place to stop in for some good food and a quick drink with friends. Service and food are both generally good, but I've seen both sides of the spectrum here. The ambiance and decor aren't much to talk about, but it is a bar. The breaded tenderloin and buffalo mozzarella sticks are my two favorite menu items.

Came here for a retirement party that was reserved in advance. Waitress took 30 minutes to bring drinks, which were made incorrectly. Not once but twice. Ended up just having a coke instead. Waitress didn't take orders for everyone. Took a second waitress to come out and take orders 20 minutes later. When my appetizer came, it was bland. Onion rings listed as breaded came out with overcooked, tasteless batter. Yuk. Didn't even bother ordering anything else.

One of my favorite bar atmospheres in the Lafayette area. Very laid back. The service is outstanding, and the food is simple, but delicious.

Update (April 14, 2016): For a limited time, they're serving up a birthday cake vodka shake and it's worth every penny and erases some recent issues I've had with food. I'm settling into their burgers and fries because they're great!
I gather weekly at Spurlock's. I greatly enjoy one of the waiters, however, food quality has been sketchy of late. I'll repost if I see improvement. Been meeting there weekly for over 5 years now. Menu has undergone some changes - some for good and some for bad. Their burgers are still top-notch and you can't go wrong with one of those. If you go, request Kory, if he's available and working then. He's amazing!response / report this review
