My four grandkids go to that school and they have a great Christmas program for the kids over all the staff is great and it's a pretty good school

I have been to Glen Acres. I am in 6th grade in Sunnyside Midle School. (Great school btw)(Sunnyside). I also still remember the old days in this school! I recommend this school! Great staff. Also great principal. Staff very supportive!

I do not recommend this school to any parents. They have very low expectations of the kids. Was told he is doing great moved and switched schools then come to find out he was not and now because they didn't take the right steps the year and a half he was attending this school he needs to be held back in the 1st grade. The school put my child on the bus 3 times in one semester when i was to be at the school picking him up, by the times I got to the front of the line my son was already dropped off at the house where no one was at. The third time it was raining i called the police and i pulled up and my son was no where to be seen the police pulled up behind me and said we are getting another call hes in someone's home follow memy 6 year old was in a strangers home! We all know how bad lafayette is getting and this is so uncalled for thank god he was a nice man and didnt hurt my child. Who did they blame? Of course they blamed the 6 year old. They do not ensure children are safe and going home the way they are supposed to and by the way this was a routine we had from the beggining of the year. Heard the lunch staff is very mean to the children as well and that they yell at the kids. Keep an eye out if your kids must attend this awful schooli do not understand why their doors are still open! So happy we moved out of lafayette but even happier my child and other children will never attend glen acres again!

Don't join the glen acers super sewing club because my daughter joined the sewing club and the teacher in room 20 said that she coudn't join the club anymore
