Wasted my time driving from from out of town trusting their website and google search result that their open hours were correct. Nope. Me and several others got screwed cause they closed for Saturday for Columbus weekend and expected us to know.

I just had my road test with one of staff working there. I can FAIRLY tell that this is the WORST place I've ever been to. RUDE people, horrible manners, and bad service. If you wanna feel bad about yourself, I strongly recommend you to go there. People there are beyond professional at that. BTW, I tried to cool off first before writing this review, but I still think that they deserve more than that.

The result of my test is very clear, apparently!

Moving to Indiana from FL has been greatuntil my encounters with this place. Unbelievable. Getting a license here is harder than trying to break into Ft Knox. Wow. Website does not sufficiently prepare you for what you need to bring, so be prepared for the rude scrutiny and multiple trips you'll need to make to supply the office the requirements. Plan for a full day here folks, no joke.

I have had excellent experience with the WL license branch. Service has been prompt, probably less than 10 minutes wait the last two times. Staff have been helpful and pleasant.

They are very efficient. Simply take a number straight ahead when you enter (unless you have scheduled a driving test online, then you go to the center counter). They will call your number out loud. They are very helpful and have been patient with me as I sort through all my files looking for the right paperwork. Most importantly things go pretty fast!

Home of the rudest people in West Lafayette. Don't need to wait long but the staff act like they don't wanna talk to you at all. I said how are you, she replied give me all your documents. Completely ignored even my greetings. They told me I'm missing a document. I went back, got the document they need. Then they told me I'm missing another one. Wtf??? Can't you just tell what you need exactly at one time so that people don't need to waste their time and yours?

In and out quickly on every visit in my experience. (Remember the BMV in the 90s?) I had to ding the location because they wanted to charge an admin fee to change plate types for my renewal, even though it was free to do it online through myBMV. It's like the fee schedule is arbitrary and they make the charges up as they go.

I went in to get a lien cleared on a title so I could sell it. They never bothered to tell me the time it would take or verified my address to mail it too. They processed it and said it was on its way and would take 14 days. By the time they told me that they said it was too late to get my regular title back. Then I find out they sent it to an old address I haven't used in years. Horrible service, horrible follow through. Absolutely no ownership or customer service skills. Ask lots of questions before handing them anything to work on.

I needed to renew a license plate yesterday, and I was done in 2 minutes -- literally. I got there about 9:00 am, they were not busy, and the slowest part of the procedure was me paying for it.

Earlier this year, I bought a used car from an individual. I asked him meet me at the license branch to complete the transaction, and I am glad I did. They knew what had to be filled out, who needed to sign where. I left the office with a temporary license plate to put on my new-to-me vehicle immediately, and the confidence that everything had been done properly. The seller left with a cashier's check for the price we had agreed to.
