Great bar, cheap drinks. Even though it's a chain it still feels unique and very much a part of purdue.
Brother's is a staple for Purdue students. Whether you're in engineering, Krannert, or even liberal arts, you can find refuge from your professors and workload for $10 or less at Brother's bar. The drinks are pretty cheap, the food is truly bar food, and the interior styling isI can't remember.
Once you're done at Brother's, or before you get there, also check out Purdue's best and most historical bar, Harry's Chocolate Shop. And grab some popcorn.
Typical campus bar. Drink specials are great though
Great place, amazing drinks, and super friendly staff. Only problem for me is the place usually has a lot of people in it and I'm not a fan of crowds. My friend spilled her drink and they happily remade it for her. She didn't even ask them too. They are just that nice.
10:44 PM on a Monday night and they're not serving food because they're short staffed in the kitchen. If you're serving alcohol, per State law you must serve food and they refused. When I questioned, they said I was arguing with them. Also threatened to call the police on me because "I was arguing" with them.
Brother's usually has some of the best specials of the area bars. Off-special prices are high, but this bar will usually be less cramped than some of the other establishments due to its size. A phenomenal place to watch Purdue play sports due to the many TVs as well.
The upper floor is very, very warm. The lower floor kinda is too. Cheap drinks It's alright. Crowded sort of place. Kinda dirty
Brothers is right up there with Harry's in awesome campus bars. Stocked with TVs and seating arrangements, this place gets packed by the weekend.
Fun place. It's a bit nicer and less dive-y than Harry's or Jake's, but it also doesn't have as many great deals, besides there mini pitchers. Definitely a staple of the Purdue bar scene though and a place you need to go to at some point.
A traditional college dive bar. Students are always around. Drinking is fun. Bar tenders are up n' ready for action at any time.
It is a chain, but they do differentiate. Bring some friends for a good time on the weekend.
