This hotel is run by moneygrubbing front desk managers and I don't see how their policy hasn't gotten them sued yet. I made a reservation the night of the 23rd of December and my phone screen cracked later that night. There was no way for me to get in contact with them to cancel because I had no map or GPS to drive 4 hours away to find a hotel in a city I'm not familiar with. I get a chance to look at my bank account and see a $130 charge with their name on it. I finally found a way to talk to them today, and was told that since I did not cancel 2 days prior, that they would charge me for holding the room, and whether I was able to cancel or not, they still would charge me plus a cancellation fee because the room was only $100 flat after taxes. The DAY after Christmas, people are like this? If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. I'm going to spread this everywhere I can online, until someone does something about this injustice. I just don't think it's right, and I'm sure many other people will see it the same way. I'm never going to stay at ANY properties owned by Marriott due to this bogus policy.

I enjoyed our stay last night. Wish it was longer! We got a room at a really good price. I was beyond amazed when I walked in! The hotel was beautiful! Our room was so clean and the bathroom is one of the places I pay close attention too and it was so clean! Looked brand new, our whole room looked brand new! The linens smells amazingly clean! The room was just so comfortable! It was pretty quite the whole time we were there. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay was wonderful! We asked for early check in and they got right on our room to get us in a soon as possible! We had a issue with the fridge in the room and the lady at the desk took care of it in less then 30 mins. The breakfast was amazing! So much to choose from! Have to say this is one of the best stays I have had in a while! Definitely will be returning! Thank you!!!

Construction on adjacent property will limit some access. Hotel is clean, fashionable, well maintained. Breakfast on par. Weight room, indoor pool. Staff helpful and courteous, no major issues the night we stayed.

I really liked this property, and the rooms were very roomy comfortable and nice. The only thing in the room that I didn't like was that there wasn't a light in the closet to see. I think that they should install lights inside of the closet for the comfort of guests. I didn't like the breakfast employee however safe was very rude. Breakfast ended at 930 and I got down about 935 and she wouldn't let me get any oatmeal and was very stern that breakfast had ended. She wasn't nice at all, and lastly a housekeeper walked in on us at 1025 after knocking once, however she didn't give us a chance to open the door. Comfortable rooms overall and nice property staff, but the staff gets an ok.

I was very impressed with this hotel. From the moment I checked in, to the moment I left my stay was awesome. I was in room 420 and let me tell you this was a beautiful room! It was very spacious and clean! The other people I traveled with stayed in different hotels but they said the next time we go to Winston -Salem they will stay here and so will I.

Just checked in yesterday. They did allow early check in. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Room was beyond what I had expected especially for the price! I'll be there all week but so far so great. We will be returning:)

Everything was pleasant except for the people "SCREWING" all loud next door last night. 🤔 VERY THIN WALLS!
This was my first trip to North Carolina and I didn't know what to expect. Upon arrival the attendant at the front desk was very kind and courteous, which quickly started to put my mind at ease.
He explained all the hotel amenities and even helped with local dining suggestions.
My room was nice and clean and even had a separate seating area which I didn't expect.
My next trip to Winston-Salem I'll definitely be staying here.response / report this review -

The rooms are nice. They have a partially sectioned off area for beds so they are separate from the sitting area. Offering that little bit of privacy. The breakfast has been great, a decent variety of options, and high quality. The indoor pool is great and should you choose to use it the exercise room is kitted out rather well. It's right by a bunch of restaurants and across from some stores.

Stayed here for 2 weeks on business. Next trip up this month will stay again. Starbucks coffee in the lobby and hot breakfast in the morning included. Large rooms.

Great hotel Needs soundproofing. Could hear the guy in the next room, talking well past midnight. But the room was great, the staff was friendly, and even breakfast was wonderful. We'll be back.

Clean room, friendly staff, good location. Those are the main things I look for in a room and all present here. Also a microwave in room which is a nice bonus if staying more than a night. Downsides were all minor, water pressure could be better, smell in the hallway was funky, and you need to follow the signs from the road to find it.
