If I could give this place a zero I would! One thing I can't stand is a thief!! So I guess they will hire anyone at this location, especially thieves. My girlfriend and I stay at the Marriott all the time and never had a problem until now! While we were gone some housekeepers stole money out of my bag and a card! When I stay at hotels especially Marriott establishments I am normally insured that my belongs are safe especially if they are in my room with a locked and secure door. I talked to management and they were of no help of course so I called their corporate office to get answers and they try and spin you in a circle and redirect you back to the management were the problem started. If I was anyone I wouldn't come to this location unless you want your belongings stolen
Room sucked, beds were sandy. Staff was good but everything else sucked. If I was you I would stay at a Hilton hotel instead. Also TVs were from the 1900’s.
Early check-in was great after a 4hr drive. Nice clean, spacious rooms. Friendly Staff. Will definitely stay at SpringHill Suites again!!!
It was great clean room. Good breakfast. Comfy bed. Will stay again
Stayed here for one Saturday night in August '17. I like to leave a little breathing room between my hotel and all the chaos of downtown, so this was a perfect location. Just a short ~20 min Lyft ride.
The beds are enormous and comfortable. Our room came with a nice, big sturdy desk and a sectional couch.
I'd never been to Savannah before, and the staff helped us find a few restaurants and places to hang out. They were incredibly friendly from check in to check out.
I hope to be back in the city sometime later this year, and will definitely be staying at the Spring Hill Suites in Midtown.
This hotel gets it: details like a personal gooseneck reading light and a separate sink outside the bathroom for mixing a nightcap went a long way in making us feel at home. The huge rooms allowed for our group of four to stretch out and relax. Friendly staff and a good breakfast made us want to stay another night! Loved the indoor pool, we were able to still swim although it rained during our stay. The breakfast was very good as far as continental breakfasts go. Many options for our family of picky eaters. Our overall experience here was excellent, I highly recommend this hotel!
My family and I stayed here for two nights while we took in some of Savannah. The hotel is minutes from I-95 and a short drive from the historic district. They are several restaurants within walking distance and a nice mall just a block down the road.
Even though this is the tourist season and the hotel was sold out, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The free hot breakfast had eggs and waffles both mornings along with patrons and cereals.
My daughter enjoyed the heated in-door pool and there was coffee available 24 hours a day. Highly recommend this property!
Room was clean and tidy, front staff wonderfully nice, the cleaning staff also courteous. Breakfast was good with the typical fair (vegetarian sausage was a surprise) I do wish they would have had dairy free alternative for milk. Room hallways were fairly new looking. The entire hotel was free from smoke and the smell. The room layout is similar to Hyatt Place but a half wall instead of a full wall divider. The desk area is a little more useful but constructed oddly. Couch was very comfortable and the TV was a very new/thin flat screen (compared to comparable rooms).
If I could give this hotel a zero I would. I have never been treated so unprofessionally in my life. I waited four hours for a room that I never got. I had a confirmed reservation for the room. They wanted to downgrade me to a comfort inn 50 miles away. Christof Lane who said there was no one above him at the hotel told me "he would not mind waiting for a room for four hours". After waiting for four hours, missing dinner and sitting in a lobby I was told that my reservation could not be honored because they had no room. So here I was on vacation with no place to stay being treated very poorly. I have been an honored guest member for 34 years. I never thought I would tell people STAY AWAY FROM MARIOTT.
They are extremely nice and helpful. We stay there several times a year when we come to Savannah to visit family. Wouldn't stay anywhere else
The experience I had here was nothing short of relaxing and amazing. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. It was recently renovated and the rooms were extremely spacious and incredibly nice. Bathrooms were well done and the service was incredible the whole time I was there. I would definitely be back again sometime. My number one pick when staying in Savannah.
Service was awesome. Front desk was very helpful. She helped us tremendously. We were in town for my daughter's college graduation and this was the most wonderful Hotel. Even the continental breakfast was delicious. This is the only place to stay in Midtown Savannah
Beautifully renovated hotel with possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! The staff is about the friendliest I've ever encountered. My room was wonderful, with a seating area, separate desk, kitchenette including a mini-fridge, and great bathroom. I frequently travel alone and felt very safe here. While this hotel is not in the historic district, it was an easy ride into downtown. An all-around great stay!
