Our client and touring comedian, Jenn Snyder, recently stayed here while performing in Savannah and had a wonderful stay. The staff and management team was very friendly and accommodating to the late check-in, and the room was fantastic! The hotel was very close to everything, and there was even a restaurant on site so there was no need to look for food before hitting the road again. Thank you for taking great care and providing a top-notch experience!

Great location and not your typical Holiday Inn! The front desk staff is very nice and the entrance and lobby very welcoming and well appointed. The hotel itself is in walking distance to everything in the Great City of Savanah! The rooms are renovated nice bathrooms and comfortable beds! The hotel has everything you need for your stay, book now!

This was hands down the worst hotel experience of my entire life. Upon travel to Savannah this hotel called me three times asking for my credit card number after I informed them I was paying with cash and told that was fine. The staff were highly unprofessional while on the phone and extremely rude. When I checked in to the hotel the staff told me I actually couldn't pay in cash and lied to me. After running my travel partners card and putting a hold on it(for our entire trip!) they said they'd take cash. Once we got to our room we found hair covering the fitted sheet on the bed, the shower curtain was sour and stunk up the entire bathroom, and we had no privacy door hanger so the maid woke us up at 6 AM after arriving around 1AM the night before. We were told the wrong breakfast hours and arrived too late to eat. At one point my travel partner called for towels so they could shower because our room hadn't been cleaned in two days. Four hours later we had to call again because no towels arrived. The only good thing about the hotel was the car hop that were extremely nice and quick to get the car. The hotel was beautiful on the outside but the staff and cleanliness was the worst I've ever encountered.

You know, usually when a hotel says it's within walking distance of a lot of really cool stuff, you find out that "walking distance" means "If you're a person who likes to walk lots of distances." And as a fat guy, that is the opposite of what I mean by "walking distance". When a guy like me says walking distance, he means he can walk around the corner or down the street and that's it. And this hotel? Is within fat-guy-walking-distance of the best parts of Savannah.
I walked to River Street, stopped in a few bars, had an amazing waterfront lunch, stopped in a few more bars, walked through the shops, had a couple more drinks, went through the town, saying hi to all the friendly bartenders, and walked through the famous Savannah cemetery before walking back to my hotel.
The room was beautiful. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Room service was great, and I slept like the dead. Or like a fat guy who had drank his way through Savannah. Either way, it was a fantastic stay and I highly recommend this hotel to any future guests.response / report this review -

This was a very well located hotel. You can walk to everything of importance in Savannah from here. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. It was kept well air conditioned so when you step inside you're instantly cooled from the heat outside. The only downside was the pillowcases were slightly dirty and it was apparent they didn't change them. They weren't disgusting but enough to notice. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

I am not sure of a cost comparison, my room was paid for by my company. The staff was fantastic, every employee I encountered was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and very clean. The location was very good, within walking distance of all the downtown sites.

The staff are very friendly at this hotel. The $30 parking fee is a little high. The hotel is older and walls are very thin. The hotel is clean. The roof top pool is on the 2nd floor. The rooms don't have safes. The odd number rooms should have refrigerators all others don't. The room is kinda small and so is bathroom. The hotel has a good location and staff are friendly.

It's a nice hotel in a convenient location BUT there is zero parking. You must valet your car and it's $30 a day. Additionally, I'm here on business and have an appointment very early in the morning, and I've tried several times to coordinate with the front desk/valet to make sure my car is ready promptly at 4:30 am, and they just can't help me. I would expect that since I'm being forced to pay $30 a day for this service they would be able to accommodate my request. No such luck.

Easy check in, clean room, good water pressure, amazing location for night life and eating out, fairly quiet, fast check out. The valet parking, while a bit expensive, is necessary for the location. There just isn't a lot of room in historic areas for parking. They allow you to check your car in and out as many times as you need to, so it isn't a place where you have to pay each time it enters the garage. We really enjoyed our short stay.

The location is about 1 block away from City Market. Our room was nice. There was white powder all over it like the room had been renovated but not cleaned afterwards. This is a decent hotel.

Updated hotel. At first the the building looks really old but once your inside it is gorgeous. The rooms are spacious and bathroom is updated. The area is amazing. The Riverwalk is about 5 minutes away. Lots of historic buildings and restaurants. The service at the hotel was inviting and friendly. They do only have Valet parking however at a cost of 30$. I would stay there again.

From check in to check out this was a great hotel centrally located in Historic Savannah. Out check in was smooth and our room was even available early. Holiday Inn is my go to brand so I was not disappointed in the amenities or in the cleanliness of our room. Everything we needed was there and had we needed any additional items all we had to do was call. There were a few snags, that is why I am only giving 4 stars. When we went looking for a vending machine. The hotel guide in our room. Stated there was one on the end floor as well as the pantry store in the lobby. When we searched the 2nd floor all we found is the laundry room with a sign that also claimed vending but nine to be found. So we had to go to the lobby in the end to purchase bottled drinks. The 2nd snag was when the dire alarms went off in the afternoon and we evacuated down the stairs and a whole 4 guests from the entire hotel actually took it seriously. At which point no one from the hotel came out to the valet area to let us know that it was a drill and We weren't even notified a head of time. One of the concierge just walked past the doors and smiled and waved at us. So one of the ladies we were with went in to find out what was going on. Despite this it is a nice place to stay. Excellent hotel especially for the rate. This hotel is centrally located in the historic area. You will find all the information on what to see, do and eat at the concierge desk. The roof top pool area is a must even at night for the great views. The continental breakfast is sufficient, but if you are a foodie (like me) you will want to eat elsewhere. It's standard with pancakes, cereal, eggs, bacon, turkey sausage, toast, fruit and oatmeal. The room was spacious and comfortable. There is a bit of street noise if you are facing the river, and you really won't have a river view unless you are on the upper two floors. Overall it was a great hotel in a great location.
