Nice place to stop along the way. Windows open gor a hint of 'fresh' air, but for the love of God, call ahead and ask them not to use their caustic, toxic air freshener before you arrive, which made me wake up with a headache and a nosebleed. Feel very sorry for housekeeping here. Wish Marriott would pay more attention to indoor chemicals.

This is a nice little hotel that is well kept and up to date. Inside the lobby is warm and while not terribly spacious, it's functional and sufficient. A pantry is available immediately to the right next to the service counter. The staff was efficient and friendly and had me checked in in about 2-3 minutes.
The room was very clean and very spacious. It was a non-traditional shape/layout which added to the perception of greater size. Carpet looked recently vacuumed and no obvious dirt/grime anywhere like you often find on picture frames, tv, mirror's etc.
There was a refrigerator and microwave to use as well as the standard coffee maker and 4-5 coffee packets which I did not use.
In the bathroom there were shampoo and conditioner single size bottles as well as face and hand soap bars. I was surprised to find there was NOT the standard hotel style wall mounted hair dryer Air-dry only, it seems. Toilet paper was a fresh roll, still "stuck" at the end, not partially used and folded to a triangle like usual.
The shower was standing only, no tub, with plenty of room However the door opened inward, which could pose a problem for a heavy set person. Water was sufficiently hot the first day, the second day extra hot and had to be turned down a bit. Cold water from the tap at the sink was like it was coming from a refrigerated water fountain.
The location is just a block off of Thornton road so there is tons of retail in the area, just about any fast food you could want a well as many local restaurants. Of course a Walmart across the street and all your expected strip mall stores and Banks are there on the ~3 mile stretch of commerce. As well, it is just a block down Thornton from the I20 E/W ramps of you have difficulty getting a hotel an exit or two down etc, this can be helpful too.
Checking out was equally expedient, the woman at the counter was exceptionally grateful for my stay and made lots of eye contact which was nice. A gentleman was also behind the counter dressed differently, likely part of the breakfast crew, he was also very friendly and conversational in a business capacity, even though it was clear by his uniform that was likely not in his job description.
While I don't come up here often, when I do it is for work which is practically right across the street. I have tried multiple hotels in the area over the past ~12 years with this company and this was by far the best yet.response / report this review -

I was there along with my family for a overnight stay to attend Six Flags over Georgia and the staff, cleanliness, as well as the food was above my expectations for a hotel near six flags. I would recommend your stay there any time you visit. Thanks again!!

Have stayed here a few times since we have an office nearby. It's comfortable, good breakfast and close to plenty of other restaurants. Service had always provided anything we have asked for. Even got a couple of eating recommendations that we'll try this week

Very decent accommodation and service. Swimming pool is indoor, but freezing Either not heated, or they simply didn't have the heater on when I was there in September. Also had to ask several times to have a minor issue with the room corrected before getting it resolved

Clean, pretty, and convenient. Not a gem by SpringHill Suites standards. I've been to far nicer examples in the chain, but it is a nice place and you will get a good night's sleep in comfy quarters. The breakfast isn't much, scrambled eggs and waffles, but it's free. The pool is loud and colder than comfortable, but it is indoors and heated. These are nitpicking, though. The decor is nice, the place is well-maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff is friendly.

I have been to this hotel a few times now and I have to say it is so nice! The rooms are clean and smell clean, the showers are incredible with different shower head settings, the hotel itself just kind of gives off a very comforting vibe to it. The front desk staff have always been so kind to us when we have stayed and really just show great customer service. So all in all 10 out of 10 for this hotel

I would rate 3.5 stars if I had the option to. Rooms were nice and clean enough. Beds and pillows were comfortable and breakfast was well stocked-even near the end. Free WiFi worked well enough to not upgrade it. Mini fridge and microwave were in room, but no hair dryer, so make sure to pack one. Parking lot and hotel seemed safe enough. Staff was great, especially Janae at check in. However, the ceilings and walls are thin and you can hear your upstairs neighbors stomping around all night and the doors on your floor slamming constantly. There was no bathtub, only a shower in my room. Every hotel room I've ever stayed at had a bath, so it wasn't something I thought to ask about. Not sure if they usually come standard, or if I've always lucked out. We would probably stay again, if the rate was lower. We booked last minute and paid for it, for sure.

We stopped here for two nights to enjoy six flags on our way home from Florida. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The room was clean and very comfortably. A great experience All the way around.

My family and I just returned from our stay here. We had a great time. The staff are all friendly, everyone says good morning, or evening whatever the case may be. The hotel itself is clean and well kept. Walmart is directly across the street and almost any restaurant you can possibly think of is within a couple miles. The free breakfast is very good and is kept fresh from beginning to end. The pool water is a little cool but the pool is in a heated room so it's tolerable and the kids had a great time. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in the Atlanta area.

Good stay, right off of i20. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I'm here for work and they are close to a walmart and a lot of restaurants and food spots. Very mice place.
