The person at front desk is nice
Place is clean. Easy to get to and from highway. Lots of places to eat.. other then not wanting to give extra towels for the pool. Gave me 2 when there was 4 of us.response / report this review -

For 40 bucks for the night ya can't really be all that upset Just be sure you bring cleaning supplies with you not a nasty place But definitely wasn't cleaned to a normal expectation they came right over and fixed the issue, just woulda been nice to start with a clean room

My husband and I travel a lot so we look for frugal overnight stays. For almost $80.00 for one night, I expect a clean room. If it hadn't been late, we would have moved on down the road! The carpet is ancient, stained and filthy sticky. The drapes have holes in them. The toilet is loose and rocks and it's base has nasty all around it. The ice bucket didn't have a liner, but it and the blanket had cigarette burns! The bathroom fixtures were either dirty or stained and the linens were dingy. There were numerous unidentifiable stains and smears on the walls, including what looked like a dribble of blood down the bathroom door! It's a good thing we don't care about the free breakfast, because stale cereal and doughnuts are all there was! And forget the outdoor pool, if you're so inclined you'll probably catch something! Based on reviews for the motels at this exit, that's our last time to get off the interstate here!

I have noted a lot of negative reviews here, and felt I should speak to my experience. Yes there are some people "living" at this location. Most of them are here on a temporary basis due to the nearby construction. Myself, I am going through a divorce . I have never had a problem with any of the staff (they are all very kind and helpful) and do a great job on keeping away the riff raff. The rooms are just fine for the cost and they do a decent job of maintaining them. I would have no problem recommending this place.

Seriously not safe! My family and a few friends were headed up North and needed a place to rest for the night. Had I known what I knew now, would've kept moving.
We arrived around 1:00am. Upon arrival, I noticed a few guys attempting to break into a car. They asked us for a wire hangar claiming they had been locked out of thier vehicle. We politely declined and went to our room, which smelt horrible and the sheets had crumbs in them. After grabbing food at a local waffle house, the thiefs seemed to have locked themselves out of another vehicle. I Called the cops and a foot chase ensued. Cops noted this area being horrible for drugs and theft.
Do yourself a favor and travel a little further. I cannot recommend this business or location based on my experience.response / report this review -

Not a good experience and would not recommend. When we first arrived the smell of sewage so bad I felt sick to my stomach. Luckily it went away in a day and just occasionally came back. Door had obviously been kicked in before as the casing was split and just nailed enough to hold it together. There was blood splatter on the wall and lamp shade. Pretty sure the bug bites I got was from bed bugs. Walking barefoot in the room caused my feet to turn black. Staff was mostly friendly (one woman who helped with maintenace was great, super friendly and helpful) but half of them spoke very broken English so hard to understand them or explain anything. Laundry room smelled horrible. $2.50 to wash & dry and the clothes only got half way dry. Dresser drawer was broken. Ceiling was falling in above the bathtub. Killed 2 spiders in the bathroom & 1 in the small fridge. Room was dirty when we arrived so I went out and bought cleaning wipes. Sheets and pillow cases were more dingy yellow than white.
Good things are that it's close to the highway & the pool wasn't too bad.response / report this review
