Great choice of Japanese style American desserts (think chocolate meets matcha). So yummy! Be prepared to wait a little at the door. This place is small! Still, service was fast once seated and then freshly prepared treats were brought within a very reasonable delay.

I do not know why I did not know about this place for so long. This is the quintessential dessert place in New York City. You need to come here with a group of people and Order all of the dishes on the menu. Everything comes out looking like a gourmet TV show style dessert. The presentation is matched with delicious flavors. My suggestion is that you eat dinner somewhere close and avoid dessert at that restaurant. Take a walk over to the spot. You will not regret it.

Had the 4 tapas between 3 of us - the big orange, matcha lava, golden toast and the cookie camp. I personally liked the first two a lot more than the last two. However, the ice cream of golden toast is really good and was one of my favorite items from everything we ate. Definitely come here with a big appetite because everything is delicious and very filling!

My favorite dessert place in the city! I've tried all the desserts on the menu minus the seasonal desserts. My favorite is the chocolate lava cake and honey toast. The cheesecake in a flower pot is really cute and delicious also. Service is quick and the staff is friendly. There is a line most of the time, but the wait is quick. Also, they opened another store down the street, so that should free up seating.

Everything here is SO good and absolutely beautifully presented!
I had the matcha chocolate lava dessert recently and LOVED it. The texture on the dessert was incredible, and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. Would definitely order this again.
I've also tried the dessert with the berries, cheesecake, and milk tea (you know, the one that looks like a plant). The presentation on this dessert is adorable, and it's really fun to "water" your plant with milk tea.response / report this review -

Uniquely designed dessert! We got The Harvest (the flower pot) & the Golden Toast. Taste wise was okay, not out of this world but a tasty dessert. Definitely nice for photos! Price was okay, expected better taste. Was not fresh. Things are made before and they reheat

I liked this place because of its innovative ways of making dessert. Not only is the presentation desirable but it taste good too. You can also get bubble tea in a cup shaped like a lightbulb and keep it! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Its a very cute location in st.marks. they have two of them on the same block, you can do takeout but just in case one is full try the other one.

Got a sweet tooth? Look no further this is the best dessert place I ever been too. Awesome staffs, nice and friendly. Place is usually pack at night but it's worth the wait. For all the chocolate lover can't go wrong with chocolate green tea lava cake or the chocolate forest. I recommend trying the golden toast, the harvest, the matcha garden. People with any allergy don't worry there is desserts that are gluten free , vegan and dairy free.

My boyfriend and I love this place. Staff are super welcoming and pleasant. They have a great variety savory sweets. We never get tired of this place.

Pretty dessert. The flavor was good, the highlight is on the presentation. The tea was surprisingly good quality. The service was very friendly and attentive even during peak hour. Probably more fun to hang out here with a crowd than to come just for the dessert.

Very small place with limited seating. It was kind of hard to find this place because it is on the lower level, but the place is really nice. Quality is a 5. Pricing may be a bit expensive. We were a group of five and paid close to 100$ 15% tip included. Desserts looked amazing and tasted amazing. Only thing that is stopping me from giving a five star is the service. Waited around 10 minutes for cups of water and even longer for our actual drinks, and was annoyed to see other people who came after us get their food first. Would I come here again? Definitely

Cute modern dessert shop. I ordered to-go and the girl was friendly and helpful. They served us quick. The desserts are expensive but definitely worth it. It's unique and rich. I had the Golden Toast. Definitely one of a kind.

Sat by the window ledge area and had the Golden Toast. It was amazing. Crispy and when topped with the ice cream, it was amazing. The crumbles and the strawberries were a nice touch too. The staff was friendly and attentive. Shared a dessert for $10. If you buy 3 or more, it's discounted.

I had their grapefruit beer. It was pretty good. The only beer I'm willing to consume. Their Desserts are all really great. Popular item is probably the Thai milk tea usually given in a light bulb that you can keep.

Yummy desserts, long lines and slow service describe this dessert bar. The quality of the desserts is certainly high with decent variety to boot. I really liked the idea of offering the dessert as a group tapas style. That way they bring them one by one and you can share it more easily. Pro tip: The are two of these dessert bars right next to each other so make sure you go to the one with the shorter line.
