Great salads and fish and chips. They have a good wine and cocktails menu also. Coffee is the best in town, the manager will come to you if he sees something that is not right, so you can expect great service from waiters, which is exceptional. Open til late. Good music. Definitely a must visit!
Highly recommend! We visited several times as we always enjoyed each meal. The food is excellent, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. Make sure to try the walnut crusted salmon. Delicious!
We were able to get a table for 10 by calling ahead on a Friday night. The food was great. The rolls were hard on the edges, like they had been left out for a while so that was weird. They were good about keeping our waters full. Seemed to attract a trendy crowd. Wasn't too loud. The Christmas decorations were lovely. Good experience overall
After a wonderful dinner with the family, we realized that my son left his brand new mouth retainer wrapped up in a napkin on the table which was cleared. The staff here were amazing!!! They literally had everyone on the lookout for it and we eventually found it. The staff and manager were so wonderful and accommodating plus the food and beer were great!
Went here for dinner based on reviews. Connolly's did not disappoint! I ordered the fish and chips and they were excellent with a great crispy beer batter! My wife ordered a brendan burger and she said it was the best she ever had and was not greasy. For dessert I got the key lime pie which was out of this world and my wife ordered the apple crisp which she said was delicious. Our server was very kind and attentive. The manager stopped by and chatted for a few minutes and took pride in the restaurant. I 100 percent recommend this place.
Staff and food are great! Try the Nachos Nirvana and check out the great rooftop bar while you're there. Great spot for dinner or just after-work drinks.
We didn't feel welcomed (and this was from the manager) From the time we walked in until we sat down. The waiter had a cold personality. He didn't even give us menus after bringing us water. We asked another waiter for menus (there were 3 of us) he brought one and appeared irritated. We looked around and we were the only minority's in there. But they definitely honor "the boys in blue" based on pics plaster on the wall. Why would we spend money at such a place? We happily walked out after about 5m of non-service. Worse place ever during our visit in NYC. I only wish I could not give a star at all.
The best classy Irish family run bar in New York. The place has just the right amount of lighting. The menu is extensive and the portions are great. Different bands play here. I saw the wolftones play 3 times here. It's pretty much family run. The decor is great, and I usually either come here for a date or meet clients here. Food is moderately priced and delicious. My favorite meal there is stripped steak, classic home fries, and potato salad. I highly recommend this place. I don't cook so I'm always eating out. So I might know a thing or two
Very decent pub. The Guinness on tap is authentic, and the waiters / waitresses are good. It isn't too busy here and, and the price is very fair at ~$8 a pint.
The food here is excellent!! I like the fact that they share the same kitchen with the Perfect Pint. The burgers are great and the service is spot on. This is kind of my teams go to place when working on office projects. Never a dull moment and I can always recommend this place to anyone visiting Times Square!
Bernie and his family are amazing. The food is outstanding but more than that. The hospitality and the care for guests is something rare. Go to this place and ask for Bernie.you will not regret it.thank you Bernie for helping us today
Great busy Irish pub just off Times Square. Perfect for a quick bite and a drink before heading out to a show or just refueling!
Service at the bar is incredibly slow. Granted the 3 times we have come in it has been very early but seriously if you are going to be open, be OPEN. Had a 15 minute lag to get a drink. I work in the industry, I want to pay for service and pay well. However I do expect to be served.
Traditional Irish pub in New York only a few metres from Times Sq. As a visitor from Ireland I really appreciated the traditional breakfast. Food was great and the staff were really friendly. The staff that I spoke to were actually from the Galway area.
Wondered into this place after trying to get into Times Square for NYE. Stopped for lunch but, ended up ringing in the new year here. This place is three floors with a bar on each floor and a roof top bar. The service was excellent and all staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating to our nine hour stay. The mozzarella sticks and nachos are excellent starters. We also had the Irish onion soup, shepherds pie, and beef stew and they all were delicious. We highly recommend stopping by here for food or drink.
