We had semi-fun, but their slogan on their wall says "Where the fun never stops" but the fun did stop. They made us get off the floor so many times if we did not have our own skates. We had our childrens birthday this weekend and never once did they say only children under a certain age to skate, but they always said experience skaters only with their own skates and at the age of 16 & up, but no age for the smaller skaters (12 & under with rental skates). I felt if we were spending our money like any one else there, then we should have the same amount of time and fun skating. Just a gentle thought to help serve the young and younger children to, because the young want to learn to skate w/o having speed and experience skaters skating them down as they speed past the young children. I even seen other young children barely had space to skate in the middle because experience skaters were dancing in the middle of the floor at one end and the assistant skaters had such a small area to try to skate safely at the other end, but there were so many of the assistant skaters skating that they could not have the proper fun as others because of the limited space in the middle. Definitely need a change in rules at the Hiram, GA location. Also the pizza was not good barely had any cheese on it & the lines were so long to order food. They need to have more workers on the weekend to assist the customers.

This place is entirely too expensive to attend unless there is some sort of discount night, but my daughter loves it here. They serve pizza that only a kid could love, they do serve beer. The music is fun until 7 :30 or so and then you have to leave because to music gets raunchy.

Love this place. The family has been at this rollerskating business for over sixty years. And thanks to these good people we have rollerskating in Cobb County.

The idea of Sparkles is nice. However, our family visit revealed that it was an unorganized money pit with a not so great experience attached. For example. The first impression was price confusion. My card had to be swiped twice to get us in properly. We had purchased unlimited laser tag for part of the group. It took forever to get a game started. I asked the staff twice what was going on and they all seemed clueless. Then they offered me a refund -or - we could finally play. We only had time for one game at that point, but I took the game as that's what we came for. Neither my nor my son's vest and gun worked properly. Prior to that.. I kept wondering where the pizza / drinks were. They had been sitting up at the food counter for a while. I never heard our order called. It wasn't very good. They didn't give us plates either. Thats probably what happens when you put unguided teenagers in charge of an entire establishment (or so it seemed). Anyway.. I hope that Sparkles enjoys the money that I spent today as it will be the last they ever get.

Two stars because the skating area was quite nice. Too bad we didn't get to enjoy it due to the time issues.

I bring my little girl here every once in a while. I had her birthday party here and after having the worst day ever and everything that could go wrong did. I walked through these doors they saw the areas I was under and the years in my eyes.. They just took over. From getting the stuff out of my vehicle to setting it all up. I would definitely have it there again. I jusr hope that the air works better next time. The people at my party where sweating. Only cool spot was the laser tag area

Came as part of a school skate night. Should have been $6 for him to get in, rent skates, access the playground, do laser tag, and $1/slice of pizza and $1/small drink. Happily announced my kid was in for his first school skate night and paid $6 to get in. Went to the playground and found out we had the wrong armband for the playground, was told to pay $5 to upgrade, which I did because my kid was crying of course. $5 PER HOUR to rent PVC pipe on wheels to prevent my kindergartener from breaking his wrists in their business. $6 to buy an arcade card with "$5 of credit" on it; some games say 25 cents per play and pull more than a dollar off the card—he swiped it three times before it was dead. Staff said locker was 50 cents, but it turns out it's 50 cents PER OPENING. Ordered dinner for me and the kid: Two slices of pizza and a soda, cost $8. Had no idea my kid was supposed to be able to play a round of laser tag for free. Got home and wife asked me why I racked up such a bill and pointed to the $6 flyer. Would have been a 2 or 3 star review because the place is decent except that no one ever picked up the phone and the manager never returned my call. (Pretty sure he's the one who sold me the $5 upgrade on the playground armband knowing my child was part of skate night.) I hate this but if I feel like you mercilessly ripped me off and won't speak with me about it, you're getting a 1.

This is a great location! They take good care of their skates. Their pizza was decent, the staff friendly. The dj was happy to take song requests. There was laser tag and a pretty nice arcade area, though I didn't partake in those. All in all I'd say I'll probably be back.

Chaperoned for my daughters Kindergarten class STEM field trip hosted at Sparkles. It was very interesting and I refreshed my knowledge on force and motion. The instructor was very engaging and knew how to work a crowd of 5 year olds. After their lesson the kids skated, played in the playground, ate pizza and danced. The kids had a blast and will bring my daughter again since she did receive a free pass.

Good fun for kids. Pretty good venue for a birthday party. Best if not on the weekends due to crowding.
