Fantastic place!! Location near enough to Duval St but far enough to make sure your not disturbed. Staff are also fantastic friendly. Rooms are great. We got married in Key West and loved the place. We would return !!

Even though no towels after getting back from a long day our AC froze not working later that night and had to leave to the hotel next door paying more. Never the less their manners was impeccable. I say better luck next time.

My husband and I adore the intimate feel of this establishment, and it's vintage Florida atmosphere. Looking so forward to visiting again soon, if Irma didn't do to much devastation. Prayers to all

Good clean accommodations. Not fancy. Reasonable prices for Key West. A little out of the way. If you don't have a car you might consider renting a golf cart to get around. Very friendly & helpful staff.

Bathrooms were very small but the prices were reasonable for the area. Room was clean and bed was comfortable enough. Not my first choice but definitely not a bad choice.

The room was very clean and offers lots of space. We had a big bed, a couch, a small kitchen and a coffee machine. There are also three pools and a small store for grocery on the other side of the street. The breakfast was a little disappointing, unfortunately there were no cereals and no toast.
Attractions and restaurants are nearby. I would recommend this hotel on Key West.response / report this review -

Evan and Shara are The absolute best!! The people that employ them should be super proud they are the most hard-working friendliest people I've met in a long time!! My reservations were screwed up and they worked so hard to make sure that we had a place to stay and that we were comfortable. It's hard these days to find young people that work and take so much pride! Evan you are a super star! !!!! I NEVER write reviews but this place definitely deserves it! Love from Brandy and Lars. Donna and Travis did an outstanding job at providing anything we needed. Location is great. Rooms are clean. A little small, but doable. Huge bath. All in all, great value for the money. Three pools, free laundry facilities.

Got a great deal in this hotel through Hotwire. It's an older hotel, but in a very cute, quaint kind of way, with lots of greenery and outdoor seating, even the occasional rooster. At check-in the staff gave us directions for accessing a nearby private beach area (owned by another hotel nearby) and that seemed like a nice touch. Would come back again!

Great value!
This hotel is half the price of the ones surrounding it, but offers a clean room and a fantastic location. It's a very short walk from the beach or from the downtown shops/restaurants.
Don't expect luxury inside your room, but you didn't come to Key West to sit in a hotel right? It's a clean, comfortable place to sleep and take a shower.

I loved this place. For being one of the more inexpensively priced options in the area, it is impressive. The experience with the staff is what made it amazing for me, I loved the lobby people!!! They have a cute little pool, and very reasonable bike rentals (hooray!). Decent continental breakfast with muffins and Capri sun and fruit, can't complain. Awesome location too, very walkable to a nice beach, shops, historical sights, food, you name it. Side note: please, please have Abbondanza for dinner if you like Italian comfort food, it's close by and I constantly crave their pasta long after returning home. Southwinds was clean, quiet, comfortable, and really, I will book them again if I ever return to Key West. Hopefully very soon.

I'll looking to book for the 3rd year in the row. My friend and I love staying here. It is quaint and they've grown in the past year. The rooms we've stayed in were decently sized. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room. They staff is so nice. It is within walking distance to many places.
