Great location, beautiful grounds. Breakfast is OK. Our cottage was nice but small for 4 adults and a bit overcrowded with only one bathroom. The outside patio was nice for hanging out as the living room was too small for all of us to hang out in together. One of the beds was not in a dedicated room, but an alcove off of the living room. All of our beds were uncomfortable. The kitchen was poorly stocked with paper cups and coffee cups rather than glass. There was a blender but hardly any plates. The toilet's placement seemed like an afterthought.I recognize that early check in is a courtesy, but we were there at 2:40 and still told we could not check in until 3pm. The door to the cottage locked automatically so be sure not to lock yourself out as the front desk is not manned at all times.

Lovely Room. The Gardens and pool area offered nice restful space. Quiet and Quaint with a friendly staff. Only down side was a somewhat noisy room style AC unit.

This place was great. The staff was friendly and the grounds were kept up with. It's within walking distance to everything. We parked our car and never moved it until we left (3 nights). The breakfast was just right. They did upgrade us from the Cabana Room to a much bigger room with a balcony. The only thing I would suggest is DO NOT book a small room unless you are staying one night. They're very small.

Central but private.
There is limited parking on site but there is no reason to drive. Everything is within walking distance. With a few blocks are restaurants, bars, shopping, souvenirs, drugstore, convenience store, and entertainment galore. The walk to the Marina is a bit long but there's plenty to see and do along the way.
Since we were in the thick of things and next to a bar with a show, we thought our front-of-house room would be noisy. It was not. At all. There was no outside noise until you went outside.
The central common area of the property is charming. Quiet and secluded. Very enjoyable day or night.
The continental breakfast was better then average with fresh fruit, coffee, all manner of bakery items that looked fresh and not packaged, coffee, juice.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating always.

The Duval House has the authentic Key West feel and is centrally located within walking distance of most popular spots. The lush gardens provide for privacy and tranquility while being right on Duval Street and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. I will definitely stay here again and sincerely recommend it to fellow travelers.

Our room at the Duval House was beautiful, with a blacony overlooking the garden. The staff has been very helpful; the woman at the front desk allowed us to use their printer. The best part is the courtyard, which is shady and surprisingly quiet, despite being feet from Duval street. The only thing I could have asked for is slightly more comfortable sheets.

Very happy with our stay at the Duval House. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a beautiful suite with a balcony. The room was spacious and clean. Staff very friendly. Parking was a reasonable price. Complimentary breakfast was good. Right on Duval Street where all the action is! We will be back :)

My husband and I stayed here for a quick week vacation. The room was clean and to my surprise pretty updated. The location was perfect!! At first I was concerned with its location next to the bar it would be loud but that wasn't an issue at all. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning. The porch rocking chairs are a cute touch and we made use of them while drink our morning coffee. We woke up a bit late on the day of check out and they were okay with us being a bit behind on getting out of the room, even though it said late check out is $45 extra dollars. I recommend it if you enjoy the Key West charm and being walking distance to all the town has to offer!

Perfect location right in the middle of Duval Street. Beautiful and very well maintained hotel, with large rooms and nice terrace. A lovely garden in a quiet environment.

Right on Duval Street makes it great for access, pretty noisy at night for a front-facing room. Nice fruit at breakfast. Room has some quirks but overall a comfortable place to stay with a calm and private atmosphere.

Awesome place to stay and right in the heart of it all. Excellent service and kind staff. Out in the garden resides a cute gray cat that just loves to be pet!🤗 We had our own little private porch or we could sit outside of our room if we wanted. We mainly walked to all of the places we wanted to visit, (Hemingway's house, Southernmost point, Green Parrot, Pinchers, Le Petit Paris), because The Duval House is so centric. The staff left us a cute teddy bear on the bed with a small card that read "Happy Anniversary" and two chocolate kisses. The complimentary breakfast is great there; boiled eggs, fresh fruit, pastries, coffee,orange juice, breads and jams, waffles

Enjoyed our stay. Had a room overlooking Duval St a bit noisy but nice large deck to enjoy your evening drinks. Great area for your continental breakfast, peaceful and quiet. Great waffles, fresh fruit ,yogurt and coffee.
Easy walking distance to many locations and great restaurants.
Bikes available to rent as well. Parking on site no worries about leaving personal items in cart. IE golf clubs etc.
