Clean and comfortable accomodations with a small pool. It was missing a desk which I guess is not expected in a vacation place like this but it was a partial working trip for me and I missed having a workspace. The grounds were well kept and the staff courteous. Located close to everything we wanted to do with a reasonably priced bike rental shop just a few blocks away. Good AC in the room, comfortable beds and a nice shower. I would stay here again.

Stayed 1 night here and absolutely loved it. The staff was incredibly helpful. It is about a mile walk to get to the strip on Duval street, but that means you don't get all the noise from the bars. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Great hotel close to Duval. We loved our junior suite with a beautiful veranda. Staff was wonderful as well. Will definitely stay at the Chelsea House again!

Rooms were bright and clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Rooms were fairly quiet given the close proximity to the street. I would stay again. Might would choose the Lighthouse next time. The location is a little better.

5 stars to this beautiful hotel! We spent part of our honeymoon at this fantastic hotel, having a good time and experience. Very nice location, close to Key West main street. We really enjoyed the prosecco wine on our arrival, a really touching surprise that was really really appreciated!!
Friendly and helpful staff, so great!

Great inn in downtown Key West. Gorgeous, recently renovated rooms. Two beautiful, small pools on site. The pool areas are as nice as anything you'll find on a five star spa resort.

This is a fabulous place. I would always come back. Clean, private and yet just open enough to be in the city centre. The rooms were clean, no musty smell and spacious. The staff was very friendly, and very accommodating. The only fall back is the shower is a bit small.

If you want a posh room, and your idea of a vacation is to lounge in a spacious room, this is not the place for you. If you like history and character, and to explore- stay at this hotel. This place is cozy, the people are friendly, and it's a great location. Close to Duvall street, everything is walking distance. The room is tiny, but we only used it to change and sleep so it's perfect for me and my wife. The pool is clean and there is free continental breakfast. You do have to pay for parking ($10 daily), but you could probably find parking close by if you don't want to pay. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed at the Chelsea during our babymoon trip to Key West. The hotel is fantastic. The staff is so catering and friendly. Our room was so comfortable and cozy. We ended up parking for free on the street instead of parking in the hotel's lot; there was always parking. Also, although we drove a lot to dining and attractions due to the fact that I'm 8 months pregnant, the hotel is easily within walking distance to most dining and attractions. I would certainly love to stay at the Chelsea again in the future.

The girls at the front desk are awesome, and will help you in any way they can. They're very knowledgeable about what to do and where to go. Rooms are boutique style, and very clean. I caught housekeeping wiping down the woodwork on the porch. Attention to detail!

Quaint hotel with a small pool in the back. Clean pool area and very nice patio for relaxing. The rooms look ok, clean and simple.
The check-in area doesn't smell good. The rooms doors are made of glass and only a curtain to cover it which doesn't extend far enough over the door. We asked for a blanket and she never brought it. Vent in bathroom was filthy and you could see all the dust.
Overall still decent for a short stay.response / report this review
