My philosophy on alcohol has always been, bottoms up… if it’s free! If you have to pay for it, then moderation is key. I don’t drink much at home, but if you go out for Italian, you must have some wine. Sushi requires sake. A flight of margaritas is a perfect accompaniment with fajitas. And a mai tai in Hawaii certainly wouldn’t go amiss!

Another good place to get your imbibing in is Fabulous Las Vegas! And I’ve certainly bar hopped a bit during my decades of debauch in Sin City. But the only one I’ve consistently visited is Cleopatra’s Barge. It’s rather bucolic as bars go in Vegas, but I’ve always enjoyed stopping here for a drink.

Sadly, it’s been closed awhile, and it says temporary on the Caesars website, but in Vegasspeak, that doesn’t bode well! I’ll be back for a Bacardi & Coke if you reopen, Cleo, and I’ll miss you if you get “bitten by the asp,” as it were.

Yes, this place is amazing, especially on nights with the orchestra. Also saw Pop 40 and loved it. Amazing venue, great seats everywhere. Fast service and good drinks. We spent four hours here on a Friday night first seeing Pop 40, then the orchestra. Incredible

Yeah don’t expect much, it’s just a little bar by the slots in the casino. There was like a plastic statue of the bow of a ship there I think. idk if that’s your thing I guess

The person at the bar today terrible person discrimination in the highest order said they don't carry margaritas. Which bar doesn't carry margaritas
I came there to be at VIP with a group of people and stopped at the bar to wait for the group too bad l had to ask my group cancel.. it's a shame

In a word, lousy. Don't get me wrong; Blues Traveler were exceptional but the venue was small and cramped. We were butt to butt with our neighbor table and they didn't stop talking through the entire show. Really ruined the experience for us. No announcement was made before the show asking patrons not to talk during the show out of respect to the artists and fellow attendees. Blues Traveler was treated like a bar band; it seemed like every table was talking over the performance and management did nothing to discourage it.
Also, on national margarita day, the margaritas were undrinkable and overpriced ($14.00 each). We complained to management after the show and they offered us tickets for another show but we were leaving the next day. What I really want is our money back. Who do I contact about that?

I went to see Matt Goss at the Gossy Room inside Cleopatra's Barge. It was a very intimate performance area with lots of tables and chairs. That didn't stop about 20 people from dancing in the VIP section. Great venue for a great performer. Don't miss out.

I was lucky and had an awesome time here. When I showed up a little after midnight the dance floor had just a few people - about half guys half girls, with a mix in age. I danced by myself for a while and when more people showed up ended up finding a few fun partners to dance with. It was very casual, lots of seating, just-slightly-expensive drinks. Good place to drop by without planning.
