It is my professional opinion that as a company Palmetto Utility Protection Services is great place to call in and have your lines located for free. The CSR's are great. Friendly, Fast, and Efficient.

To work at Palmetto Utility Protection Services is a different story. I would not recommend anybody working for the company. The CSRs are friendly enough yes, the job is easy enough yes, HOWEVER, the supervisors and management are hard to work with.

They single you out, set you up, and work together to force you to quit if they dont like you. Often enough you give them no reason to dislike you other than not allow yourself to be scared into silence.

First of all, the company gives you 2 personal days, and they tell you after your 90 days you can aquire 1 day per month to take off. Sounds great right? What they dont tell you is that, yes you accrew time off, but if you use it for anything other than scheduled time off you are subject for a write up. They allow you no time off to be sick.

They send supervisors to follow you to the bathrooms, out to your 15 minute breaks, and to spy on you during your lunch hour. If you say anything to another employee about the company you are subject for a write up. Whether it be honest or not.

In recent events management has slammed doors in employees faces and bowed up against employees almost like they are going to jump them. I personally and professionally tried to make a complaint about a supervisor singling me out and making a false statement against me, and the supervisor above her unprofessionally called me out in front of the other call center employees, and because i refused to give up my privacy, thought me to be dishonest.

Try to go above management to the director, it doesnt matter what the CSR says, the manager is always right. They have no respect for their CSRs, mistreat them, and are nasty to them.

They write them up for having mobile devices or carrying on personal conversations amongst one another, yet the managers call radio stations for free tickets, allow other CSRs in their office to help pick out nail polish and sorts. Its an unfair place to work.

To make some employees uncomfortable the supervisors seperate them, place them in cubicals next to the offices, or other employees that they are known to not get along with. They seperate them from their friends, make it so they can talk to no one on breaks. The company tries their best to not fire anybody because they do not want to pay anybody unemployment.

I feel as though I have said enough, though there is more to be said, however, please do not mistake this review for the company itself. The company is a good place to rely on good service, as long as you do not work there.Thank you.
