While passing through SC, I heard crazy sounds from my rear tires. I literally "googled" the nearest tire place and it was Franks Discount Tires. I pulled in and met with Justin - his customer service was top notch. He told me exactly what the issue was, made solid, honest recommendations. I had 2 rear tires and an alignement and was good to go. Special thanks to "Q" and the entire team at Franks -- Well guys!

Been getting my tires here for years but the past couple years I've noticed how long it takes them for service! Came in today to get my complimentary tire rotations as I've done in past, not greeted, stood at counter with no other customers in sight, 2 were on phone but didn't acknowledge my presence, another came from back and said he'd help me. They took my car back. After 45 minutes I walked out and around to see my car sitting in bay on ground as a worker pulled a truck behind my car and left it. I went inside to see how much longer and man said mine was ready but a truck was parked behind my car and they were waiting on it to be moved. I informed him I watched the truck stop there and my car was on ground and, if it was ready, I needed to get going. Lady nicely said several workers were out today, that's why it took long, etc. I feel like mine was done before I walked around to check and if I hadn't inquired, I'd still be in the waiting area. Customer service was off today.

They are a busy, full service tire and alignment shop. Their prices are fair and they handle work in a professional and timely manner. I bought tires from them and one of their mechanics was quick to lend a hand when my grandchildren's bikes had low tires.

Story:

One time my father and I had taken my vehicle to the Lexington Ford dealership to see about getting a frame rattling problem fixed. Evidently the mechanics there took us for fools because they tried to tell us that the tires were splitting and wanted to charge $600 to replace all four (after already charging us $40 for a diagnostic). Extremely skeptical of this, we took it over to Frank's to see what they said. We told the guys at Frank's our story and they took a look at the vehicle. Sure enough, the tires were fine. The only problem they found was that the wheel bearing needed to be fixed, so they fixed it. The outstanding part is that because of our woes with the dealership we had that day, they did this for free! Very kind of them. My family has always gone to Frank's first for all our tire needs. They'll always get the best deal for you and won't try to sell you something you don't need or want. If they don't have a particular tire in stock, they'll order it and have it ready for you the next day or asap. I recommend them to all of my friends in the Lexington area.

Do not purchase tires from Frank's Tires in Lexington if you expect reliable work and even average customer service. The tires I purchased in March 2016 were installed with the side clearly labeled "inside" on the outside. I went back to Frank's the next day and was told it didn't matter. I called Pireli later in the day and was told it didn't matter for tread wear but it did matter with respect to the way the tires functioned on wet roads and in rain. So I go back for a third time and they reluctantly remounted the tires correctly after along wait.

Fast forward to last Wednesday. I take my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. The customer service rep located me in their system and verified I purchased my tires from Frank's. Went to lunch and when I returned to pickup my car, they called to let me know it was ready, I find out they didn't rotate the tires. Rep said they only do that at no charge for tires purchased from Frank's. This is the same rep that verified I purchased them from Frank's when he checked me in. Then he told me they were too busy for the rest of that day. Told me I could come back another day and they could work me in so I returned two days later to be told it would be at least two and a half hours.

No thank you Frank's. I'll pay a quality company to rotate the tires I purchased from you. No respect for the customer. Signed Wade Wise from Lexington.
