Wonderful service and a surprisingly interesting menu. Connected to the Marriott hotel. They also offer in-room service. The ambiance and decoration in the restaurant are spot on. Merci beaucoup !

Meh, ordered salmon with spinach, peas, asparagus and coconut curry sauce and a dessert with 'salted burnt caramel ice cream' from the menu. But got salmon with broccoli, peas and carrots with salt/pepper and vanilla ice cream. No explanation or warning of the substitutions.

Fabulous French in downtown Pittsburgh. Located in the Marriott hotel. Service was phenomenal from the hostess who greeted us (and took our reservation) chatted with us and gave us a great table in the back. Our waiter was really great too - super nice and efficient. Very informative about the menu and what each of us might want to try. I had the beef bourguignon and it was amazing. Not super hot though, so the waiter immediately returned it to the kitchen and took care of it. The other entrees at the table were equally delicious - we food share! And dessert was terrific. Creme brulee and the apple torte both divine. We'll be back!

Excellent, high quality food and friendly staff. My wife is from France, so it is always nice to find authentic French cuisine here in the States. We loved it!

I've fallen in love with this restaurant. The food is authentic (the restaurateur is from Lyon) and every bit as delicious as you would hope if not more so.

Food was all definitely a 4/5 but service was poor. Many missteps by the hostess and the wait-staff. A course in restaurant service101 would help everybody.

I never leave reviews but I need to counterbalance the negative ones: this is a great new staple in Pittsburgh. I go again and again. I always seat at the large bar, typically after 8pm, however, so I may not have exactly the same experience other have.
The staff is always delightful, the food and cocktails are always at least good, some are delicious, and the prices are reasonable and almost shamelessly low during happy hours. Some french staples cannot be found anywhere else in the city: quenelles, kir lyonnais, grating dauphinois, etc.
Overall the food is 4 stars by Pittsburgh standards, but I give the place 5 stars because downtown needs such great restaurants.

There was no wait to get a table. The food selection is pretty good. I would call it country French. They say from the Lyon region. I don't know enough about French food to know one region from another.

    Service was quick and professional.

Food was very flavorful. My only complaint was the amount of veal in my veal dish. 3 bites. That's it. Not 3 peices. 3 bites.

Ok, also, the pasta tasted like boxed pasta. Fine at home, but not so much at what is aiming to be a high end restaurant in a very competitive local market.

    So 2 complaints.

The Bastille Day fixed price menu was wildly creative and the event was lovely and creatively thought out. However, the execution was about a 5 out of 10. The poached egg on the salad Lyonnaise was very overcooked and the ice cream on the custard dessert was completely melted. Our server was very nice and was visibly distressed about the condition of the food. Seemed like a disconnect in the kitchen. I hope there are more fixed price events like this- because it was very enjoyable- there just needs to be a bit more focus on execution from the kitchen for next time. Love this restaurant though. Nice to have some good French food in Pittsburgh.

I LOVE this place!! Perfect for happy hour cocktails and nibbles (the cheese selection is terrific). If you're going for lunch or dinner the menu is simple, French, and absolutely delicious! I like sitting at the bar and watching the bartenders make beautiful handcrafted cocktails that are absolutely delicious -plus the bartenders are super cute!!

Overpriced and trying to be something they aren't. Food just wasn't very good.

A great place for a before-theatre dinner or a romantic interlude, the food that Chef Timothy Howland creates is eclectic, daring, and delicious! The wine list is great the prices reasonable, the service is very good, and the atmosphere is laid back and elegant.

Nice atmosphere, very good food. The wine list is pretty extensive but maybe a few dollars overpriced. Wouldn't steer me away from coming here though. I have been here 3 or 4 times and have come away happy and full each time.
