Amazing place, great service. Very friendly
We are here now for a week. Room needs work. Clock is stuck at 6:45. Housekeeping forgot us yesterday. After two requests a guy brought us a bag of towels and he took our garbage and left me to put the bag back inside the trash container. Stove burners are lifted off of stove top leaving them unsafe to cook. Inside freezer the shelf is rusted really bad. The thermostat gets stuck when you press the buttons in and the battery cover falls in the floor. The floor by the door and mirror is black. I realize that this is island living but general maintenance and housekeeping is necessary for a nice visit to the island. I think it is time to renovate or lower prices.
Beautiful intimate beachfront hotel. Stayed here for my 5th anniversary and it was literally paradise! Fresh breakfast with a selection of cereals, fruits, pastries, waffles, boiled eggs, yogurt and fresh squeezed orange and strawberry orange fruit juice every morning. The hotel offered beach towels, lounge chairs, umbrellas, paddle boards, kayaks and bicycles!! We stayed in room 4112, which by the way had a gorgeous view of the gulf (pictures attached). We stayed the week of September 24th and if you are from FL than you'd know this was two weeks after hurricane Irma hit SW FL. Obviously the beach water itself was not as beautiful as it normally is. Customer service was exceptional and over above. Everyone was so polite from the front desk to house keeping. My only complaint is the hotel could use an face lift. Particularly the tile, I was not a big fan however the bed was VERY comfy with the exception of the feather pillows (too soft, my head sinked too low, I could have brought my own) Overall this was a comfy, beauriful, intimate beachfront hotel. Keep in mind people you are 30 sec away from the beach. It was worth every single cent ($700 for 3 nights) We would definitely return!!
Very comfortable rooms, great location , excellent breakfast buffet.
Nice, boutique hotel on the gulf with generous continental breakfast on the pretty patio. I was in a ground floor Gulf front unit. We liked having no stairs, but the ground floor view is blocked by dunes, so no water view. These units are spacious with the sofa-bed in a rear room with the closet, no view. We used this as a dressing room, watched TV and looked out the sliding doors from the bed. Not a problem because we were out all day. Main complaint is that the central air conditioning unit is in a closet inside the room. It went on and off all night, waking me up. In addition, since I had a corner, ground floor unit, the four external units for my end of this 8 unit building were directly on the external wall shared by my bed. So, with all this machinery inside and outside, my sleep was frequently disturbed. I won't stay here again only because of this problem. This didn't disturb my husband so may be ok if you're not a light sleeper.
20 year anniversary trip This was well worth the 15 hour drive. Will return and stay longer next time. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and spacious. Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Great job
no working vending machine on property, huge potholes in gravel/shell main driveway, main walkway to beach was flooded all 3 days w brackish stagnant water u had to walk thru. breakfast was good and room average or a lil above. not near enuf beach chairs/umbrellas. pool area above average. it's ok but nothing special.
