My boyfriend and I were super excited for our stay with this company. My family has used them in the past and they were great (but that was also ~10 years ago). Needless to say, we were super disappointed when we arrived. First, the directions were terrible and it took us about an hour just to find our cabin. Once we got there, we tried using the key code to get the key for our cabin and it wouldn't work. We called management and they said that maintenance would call us back. They called us in about 15 minutes and then hung up when I answered the call. Tried to call back but it's a one way number. They called back, and hung up again as soon as I picked up. I called the main office back 3 more times before they finally just let me speak to the manager. She then proceeded to say "try this code" after an HOUR of playing phone tag with them. The code worked and we finally got in (mind you it was already dark outsise). The cabin itself was super cute, but you could tell it was not taken care of. Closet doors were broken, AC barley works, absolutely terrible water pressure in all the sinks and the shower. It looked like they didn't clean it in weeks. There were dead bugs all over the window ledges, spiders all in the shower, and the kitchen utincles has not been washed and there was dried up food on them (YUCK!). All and all, I will never be staying with this company again.

We would give less than one star if that was possible. First of all the sign for Sweet Mountain Aire was hidden. In fact, we drove by it three times before we finally put the address in our GPS and used that to find it. When we opened the door to the cabin we found the following:
A death trap in the basement (a massive cistern that we couldn't figure out the purpose)
The "second bedroom" was actually a open loft with a bathroom everyone could see in. Every time someone walked through the bedroom they had to call for others not to look up.
The "living room" was so small we all three had to sit on the small couch to watch the small television. We were about 4 or 5 feet away from the television and the dining room table.
The kitchen was incredibly outdated and filthy, and the floor was so dirty it was black in spots.
There were live bugs in the living room and dead bugs in the basement.
The stairs to the basement were filthy.
The bathrooms were so nasty we were afraid to get in the shower.
The house was so filthy I didn't want to take off my shoes. I was afraid to sit on the couch or sleep in the bed.
My husband was so disappointed he finally stated everything we were all feeling "This place is a dump!!!!"
The next morning my husband got up early and went to look for another cabin rental place. When he went to get our money back, he found out that there were no refunds. Of course he had to wait in line to complain because there were other people with similar complaints.
He was told there were two cabins we could move to. We moved to Mountain Music. When we first arrived at the cabin, we were relieved because it was really nice and clean, and then
This really sketchy van pulled up in front of the cabin. We thought they were looking for something. Then they got of the van and came to the door of the cabin. They stated that they were there to put in the washer and replace the deck. They said they would be in and out all day that day and the next. The funny thing is the van didn't have a washer in it or wood for the deck. At this point, my husband was furious. He called the rental office and told them we were not staying there with people coming in and out for the next two days. He demanded a refund, and was given one, FINALLY.
We went to another rental agency and got a cabin that was both clean and nice for the rest of our stay. We will NEVER rent from Smoky Mountain Lodging again nor will we recommend that anyone use them to book their stay in the Smoky Mountains. In fact, we will tell everyone we know not to rent from Smoky Mountain Lodging!!!!!!!!!

We stayed at An Eagles Nest, It was the best stay we had , the cabin was just what we wanted , its a beautiful cabin and a quiet location not in a cabin community. The private roads where there was no traffic and enjoyed walking and seeing the great views. We will be back truly a cabin experience .

My husband and I stayed with black bear lodging 3 times a year for the past ten year. We have stayed in some good cabins and some bad cabins we have payed for Cabins with hot tub didn't work and the never reimburse us anything. Just say we will take care of u next time u stay with us but never did. But this time I was NOT happy at all they done is wrong. When we were leaving the cabin to check out my husband left his jacket on the chair when we got home we call the office the lady told us she would call us back she was going to talk to the cleaning lady.. Two days late no call so I called her and she told me they didn't have it (of course they didn't) and she told me that they were not responsible for any thing that was left in the room(really) after all the years we spent with them and there dirty cabins oh and the manager was not professional at all very rude..So I hope u enjoy the jacket and I hope it was worth it we will never be back at your cabinsso Hello aunt Bugs we will be back in june

The cabin we rented Tennessee Delight is in need of many repairs and just maintenance. We tried several times to get some of the items fixed and they were always coming tomorrow but tomorrow never came. We contacted them with pictures showing what we were talking about and we were told that it was being forwarded to their management team but no response. Would never rent from them again
