Employee reservation!!! Picture this a family of six 3 woman and two small children stuck in middle of no where with. This is the worst hospitality that me and my family has every received! Inconsiderate at the up most, my family booked a reservation through employee discount (2weeks ahead of time) to fly from Fort Lauderdale all the way to Tennessee and receive a phone call stated they will be giving my room way to what they they may consider Owners!! It’s six of us with no where to stay in a place we have never been before! What’s type of business model is that you would put your employee extended family on the back burning at the very last minute notice i mean within hours of checking in! This had to be the worst vacation experience no one was able to give me and my family an answer to why we would be left stranded! We even pre-paid for the trip. Please don’t book with these people, a company that do not take care of their employee and the people that make the company run.

The rooms are nice and spacious and the maintenance/cleaning staff are very accommodating. The reason for the low review would be the amount of noise. This is a hotel for families, with kids. There was lots of noise from both overhead and on either side of our room until early in the morning. The noise above us was loud enough to disturb watching TV. The front desk was less than helpful. If you're staying here, bring earplugs!

I usually love staying at this resorthowever, I stayed two nights this trip and was talked into going to a meeting at 9:15 AM for a presentation, breakfast, and giftcards. I had to put down a $20 deposit. My family and I got up and went to the presentation only for them to tell me we didn't need to be at the presentation, didn't give us giftcards or breakfast we were promised. They only refunded me the $20. No one at the resort seems to know what is going on and how the timeshare works as I was told many different things that were not true. Highly disappointed this trip, seems like they need to re-train all of their employees.

Very good location. Very nice having the waterpark, the kids love it. It was a bit disappointing that half of the waterpark is closed 80% of the time, open only on Friday evening and on weekends. The park that is open all week isn't fully staffed during the week, some of the lifeguards have to run back and forth helping multiple slides at once. Lots to do in the surrounding areas, all of which are a fairly short drive.

Nice resort that is close enough to Pigeon Forge strip but far enough away that traffic isn't an issue. Plenty of fun activities for kids and adults. Very nice accommodations.

The resort is great for families. There's a lot of activities for kids, but better of the kids are a little older (many of the attractions have a minimum height of 48 inches). The restaurants on site are terrible, but there is a lot to do nearby

There was so much to see and do just at the resort. I wish I had more time to explore and enjoy the amenities. The rooms are beautifully decorated but I wish there were balcony rooms that weren't over the pool. The employees were trying to say its "amazing" and the "best view" but you end up hearing the music from the water park along with the screaming of the people going down slides. I wish that there were views of the Smokies instead. The other Wyndham location is better because it offers mountain views and is way closer to the attraction in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This lodge is a 20-30 minute drive from most of the attractions. I wouldn't have booked here if I had known that.

Easy to access location. Would be better if the buildings were more clearly numbered. Also there should be a closer entrance to the pool in front of building 6. Overall, not too much to complain about. Nice place and good service.

This is our first time staying at the Wyndham at the Great Smokies Lodge. It was very nice and clean. We liked that the price of the water parks were included. We also liked that there was an indoor and outdoor waterparks a huge arcade and other activities for year round fun. I would definitely recommend this resort.

The room was clean and very nice. The family and I had a great time at the water park. We really didn't have to leave the resort, although we did eat out a couple times.

Cramped rooms but lovely furniture and clean. The water park is great for younger kids but a day will do you. The service was excellent. Noise has no limit though. Love the amenities, especially the coffee and dessert shops. Meals were not what we had hoped however, food was dry. Overall a good experience though.

The resort's here are so nice. Very clean, and have everything you need when your home away from home. The staff are always ready to make your stay better ands ready to jump on any request you may have. Also, the water park and all of wilderness is available. Great family stay.
